Look after my old man!

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I am headed to Afghanistan to support our troops on the ground on Thursday.  For the 3 months I am gone, I have given my father my 03 Spirit to ride.  Better for it to be ridden than to sit in my garage all summer.  My dad lives in western MA and its been awhile since he's been on a street bike.  He's had it about 2 weeks now, and he is right back into it!  He will be loggin on here from time to time looking for help, suggestions and maybe some rides.  Please show him all the help and support you have shown me and if you DO see him on here, help me talk him into getting a bike!  (I think riding the Spirit all summer might just do it though!)

Thanks gang, I'll see you in October!

Smitty,

What you guys are doing, is a great service to world peace.

I believe you are God's messagers appointed by him to do His will.

Maybe I will see you at Branson next year along with all the Sisters and Brothers from this site.

I wish you safe travel, and God speed while you are there.

Smitty....you sound like you truly luv your father...so why would you make him ride your Spirit...LOL.  Just busting your chops....

With any luck he will fall in love with your spirit and you can just sell it to him and then buy yourself a Chief to ride.

Be safe in Afghanistan....I have spent time there and in other areas and you never know when something is going to happen...just dont get complacent!  Good luck buddy... :Cheers[1]:

Remember what General Patton said? "No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country.  He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."

Guys like you make me proud to be an American.   :unclesam:
