TitanChief
Well, like in my previous rant, the only people that have time to sit on a jury that long are unemployed morons-usually the lowest common denominator and lack any real deductive reasoning. Emotion is what powers people like this, and they LOVE the superstars. granted, with O.J. it was a race thing-black revenge, if you will, but we have Robert Blake and now Jackson. California is full of assholes.

homer
as for MJ...I think the jury saw thru any "star eyes" and did what was prudent...not hearing all the evidence, i can't really say, but i would be really surprised if he was stupid enuff to get caught with his pants down...literally. as for OJ..I think the jury also did what they thought was correct...sure, maybe he did it, but there was probably some attempts to manipulate things....i.e. frame a guilty man....what's the bigger crime? and with guys like furhman leading the way. I think race played a bigger part on "THE MAN's" part than on the jury's...I don't know that any jury since the 60's would acquit based soley on race...maybe they would still convict, but not acquit. As for Robert Blake..didn't pay enuff attention.... these three guys are all freaks...I think a unaminous decesion would be made on that! eric

Several have said they let him go because of “400 years of injustice”. Also that, “All DNA proves is he has blood. We all have blood”. Funny thing when I hear that, I only remember a bicentennial so far. Color means little, stupid is as stupid does not matter color, class, race, sex or sexuality. homer
400 years of injustice?? damn, well there's your problem..the jury was too old to understand some thing..anyone that's been around long enuff to remember 400 years ago that is.. and no...I didn't keep up after the trial, but I watched a good bit and agreed that he should have been acquited....not that he wasn't guilty...just acquited based on the trial and the evidence as presented. I would have also been ok with guilty...I'm that kinda guy eric

maninbox
I back up homer on this issue. I have been on a jury 6 or 7 times in my life (and I'm pretty old now). Every time, the jurors take it very seriously. I can't believe that a jury would aquit unless there really was reasonable doubt. People on the jury are just like you and me. They don't want to be there but they have no choice. Some are smart, some are not but they are regular people. I hope every one of you would consider that you hold the defendant's future in your hands when you are a juror. You wouldn't want to have your son or daughter convicted on anything less than the law requires. During deliberations, the women cry and the men really do think hard about what is right. Its serious business. Our legal system is the greatest in the world. I been thorugh it and I wouldn't want it any other way. The people I have convicted were proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If that freak, Michael Jackson (or OJ or Robert Blake) got off, I believe that the jury worked real hard to do the right thing. The verdict does not say that Michael Jackson is innocent. It says that he was not proven to be guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If the jurors say not guilty, then I support them, not because I think MJ is innocent - I have faith that they did what thier conscience told them to do according to the limitations of the law. Sorry for the preaching. I've said enough for today.
