maninbox
Congratulations, you've got yourself an awesome machine. The stock air cleaner is truly an icon to bad design. The best thing about it is that it is replaceable. I, myself, am partial to the warbonnet design. Look up Indian air cleaner on ebay to get an idea. Also available is an old school round model available for all mikuni carbs. Are you familiar with forum member "HOMER"s site? He graciously maintains a site with tons of useful information. Lots of good downloadables like service manuals and lots more. For me, I got almost everything for my indian on Ebay. Some I paid too much for, other things were good deals. Fender tips come and go on Ebay, I don't know any other sources for the vintage tips. One of the few aftermarket makers of Indian accessories is Warpath Custom Cycle Accessories. They make great-looking things - very high drool factor. Wish I could get them all: http://www.war-path.com/store/index.php Good luck with the new ride. This forum is the best place to learn about your Indian, both good and bad, and meet other people who have the passion (pain) as you do. Be ready for people to start saying "nice bike" to you everywhere you go.

campbell
Check out www.aardvarkcycle.com. They sell Vintage tips, but I'm not sure those are the same as what was originally on the Vintage. campbell

They sell the chrome air cover and tips. Unfortunately their web site kind of sucks because some of the pictures don't load. P.S. Joining the IIRA is a good thing. The towing service alone is worth it. I had to be towed home this weekend and that FREE service just covered my membership.

firebird77clone
owners manual.... no need. Not enough value to justify a pack of matches. What you need is the maintenance manual and the parts manual. Go to Homer's site and download it FREE.
