2blackbelts
I spent the last couple of days over at the shop on the T3 Chief, and finally, it's ready to come off the lift after the major freight damage from delivery and upgrades. The saddlebags are being professionally repaired, and should be done today. Here is what I did to it: Installed six speed tranny, Blackhawk polished oil pump, all braided oil lines, oil cooler, extended the floorboards and controls out 2" for more leg room, all l.e.d. bulbs and boards in turnsignals and taillight, show polished all aluminum, balance masters on the compensating sprocket, factory Indian alarm, billet aluminum wheels with matching brake rotors and pulley. I kept all of the stock part in case I sell the bike, or want to go back stock. Now, if it will quit raining, I am going to take the bike out for the test run. See you all personally in Branson NEXT MONTH ! 2blackbelts

2blackbelts
Thanks to all for the feedback. I have #46 with only 573 original miles. After rejet, pipes, billet wheels, oil pump, braided lines, compensator balancer, etc., it started absolutely instantly. Took it for a good jam, but I was leaking oil severely out of the lifter towers, and caught it before any engine damage. I had yanked them off to put on chrome lifter block covers. Luckily, I was by a friends shop and left it there. I'll go down Monday and check the problem out. What few miles I did ride, it was very smooth, and had very acceptable pickup. (at least for a factory tuned 100) With any luck, should be back on the road Monday. the best, 2blackbelts

firebird77clone
Am I to understand that you took a ride without your rocker covers?
2blackbelts
Rocker covers are just fine. I was leaking out of the o rings at the lifter covers. All is fixed, and fine. Since I put mags on the bike, I am going to recheck the rear wheel spacing tonite. 2blackbelts
