Firefinder
:uhoh: This isn't really mechanical or brand specific, so I will post it here. If it belongs elsewhere I guess the administrator will move it...I ride an 03 Chief Springfield. Ironically so does my stupid friend. I'm sure many of you have dumbass friends who have done something similar. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to help me...I mean my friend out? Also my friend needs info on what type of paint was used on the Springfield (red one) to touch up a couple of very minor dinks. :veryangry: I'm sure my friend would be happy to hear your advice...I will be happy to forward the info. Pop
Yep. Oven cleaner. Put it on warm, not hot pipes, then after it cools off scrape with a wood or plastic scraper. Goof Off works fair too. More elbow grease required. You don't always win either. Sometimes scratches and discoloration remain to piss you off. Not that I would know. The pile of junk pipes in the back forty are all other peeps 'cause I yam careful.

yakuza
I had some duct tape fall on mine, and it burnt right on and left a nice patch. I waited until it cooled then sprayed the gunk you us to get bugs off yer paint. Let it soak and use a blade and scoop it off. Gentle touch or it will scartch. Good luck
