joegvr
I just paid off my '00 Chief last week. Unfortunately, I won't be able to purchase another one...being a single dad of two daughters, a mortgage here in the Silicon Valley...well, you get the picture. I am content with what I have. http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?postid=329062#poststop Joe

firebird77clone
congrats. I was on course for a June payoff, but the wife wrecked her car to the tune of about $1000.. that's going to put a wrench in the works.... as I wrench her work.. or something like that. Iron Mike
I've been lookin' REAL hard at a '46. I've got four sons so I figure I should have one for each of them to inherit. I hate the thought of any unseemly squabbling over the loot at my funeral.
Peterwinkle
WOULD LIKE A 46 MYSELF, (BIRTH YEAR) WOULD LIKE TO GET ONE ALREADY RESTORED. HATE WORKING ON THE DAMN THINGS. RATHER BE RIDING THEM.
indian T
still a ways to go on my loan. I am on the short side of it though. I am trying to convince my wife to move (with me) to warmer climes so we can ride most of the year. I sure do hate paying on the bike and not being able to ride it during the winter. Iron Mike
My Dad owned a '46 back in '49. I've thought about trying to trace it down. Probably turned into railroad iron years ago.

Jbasile
I was pretty pumped when I payed off my one year loan on the Vic last September. Haven't been able to save a dime since either. Been workin for 30 years, got nuthin to show for it except a mountain of debt. Its pretty frustrating sometimes. I do find riding good therapy though. Iron Mike
My brothers philosophy is to die with as many toys as possible and let the survivors worry about the debt.
