Iraqui elections

Recommended Posts

How come when the elections have become a resounding success , the only thing the democrats say is , "we were responsible for the success in Iraq" , pretty wild shit!

Then this broad from the nation democrat hdqrs says , if we were to ask the congress to send 1300 troops over to Iraq to die do you think they would have approved it ? no , George Bush lied to the American people!

I got a question for this dimwit , Do you think if we told congress several hundred thousand people were gone die in WWII that they'd approved , I dont think so , when your fighting repressive societies its a must to send troops , the spread of that disease is large and always out of control , Nazism , communism , terrorism , all the ism's are bad !

Tell me why we should leave Iraq , and let evil take over , you want more war in the middle east ? Next time it "will" involve France and all the Europeans , they will have to fight , it will be for there homeland! That is one of the reasons we're there now , we want to "contain" the spread of disease , and if your a muslim I dont give a shit if I offended you tell allah to put a spell on me ! Ill waiting for him and his foollowers should be waiting for my response!

They did, and that is why we did not get involved sooner.

It took Pearl Harbor. People do not see the connection between 9/11 and Iraq. Just as they did not see Hitler for what he was in WWII.

By todays standards we would have only gone after Japan in WWII and stayed out of Europe and Africa.

read the biography of Alexander Hamilton and about how troublesome it was to set up our form of Government initially here in the fledgling United States of America....it was not easy...it was at great loss of life...it was sabotaged and hindered every step along the way.

Nothing worth dying for is ever easy...

Iraq is taking the first step...and I wish them all the best! :)

There is no question that of all the "ism's" terrorism with religion as an excuse is the most evil type of "isim". I'm reminded of a movie called dogma in which Chris Rock succincly explains how Ideas are better than beliefs, because beliefs can't be swayed, thus, most of the wars, conflicts, etc. are based on a belief system that says-God supports me, and is on my side. everyone else is wrong. totally dangerous and horrible way to look at the world. this is why these extremist muslims are so evil-all in the name of religion. Funny, most religions have there persecution, and all were wrong. Killing in the name of God is wrong, period. It's probably why I have such a hard time with religion, because all of them (except perhaps the buddhists) get so sanctimonious and over-zealous about their religion, that soon it becomes an "us versus them mentality." as if your God and beliefs give you the right to trample on those that do not subscribe to your way of thinking. Just irritates me to no end.

I fell that everybody is entitled to live their life in their own way, as long as they do not trample on the rights of others..THAT is the cardinal sin. everything else is fair game. I'm for property rights, gun rights, and less taxes. I do not subscribe to coercion, unless it is of a defensive nature. This explains why we are in Iraq. If you look at Iraq in contrast, they are simple, 12th century peasants trying to adapt to a world that has evolved at four times the rate they have. So, it will take time. the elections are such a great step for them, but it doesn';t mean all is well, and we can just waltz out, because they are not ready, and we need to see this thing through untl they are stable enough to run things on their own. Who can give a date on that? It is an objective by objective mission, and the first two-get Sadaam, free the poeple with elections, have been met. Now, a constitution must be amended, and the wheels of freedom have to roll. It's a process, as Dubya said it would be. My concern is a few things: First, the cost of this operation is skyrocketing, and starting to worry me, and now we may be getting involved in this Sudan thing...CHA-Ching! this is getting expensive, folks. Personally, my taxes are already too high, and I do not see anymore relief as long as we keep playing world-police. granted, I understand why we went, and I beleive we must be ever-vigilant against these terrorist bastards, but...gettin expensive, ya know? Just some thoughts.

Freedom isn't free.

ICON~ Point taken, which is why I support this "conflict"...I absolutley REFUSE to be bullied by a bunch of rag-headed cowards. I get newsweek magazines and there on the cover is a pic of two "insurgents" that wear masks and hold weapons, and I think they are cowards and morons for subscribing to a religion that believes you should kill those that do not subscribe to your view. Fuck-em, I say. I'll ALWAYS defend freedom-it's what America is all about.
