1BIGDogg
Got this in an e-mail today STARBUCKS This is all the excuse I need to never drink another drop of their very poor tasting brew Starbucks. Recently Marines over in Iraq supporting this country in OIF wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffee and try to score some free coffee grounds. Starbucks wrote back telling the Marines thanks for their support in their business, but that they don't support the War and anyone in it, and that they won't send them the Coffee. So as not to offend them we should not support in buying any Starbucks products. As a War vet and writing to you patriots, I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this War might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street to street and house to house for what they and I believe is right. If you feel the same as I do, then pass this along, or you can discard it and I'll never know. Thanks very much for your support to me, and I know you'll all be there again soon when I deploy once more. Semper Fidelis, Sgt Howard C. Guest_ikonboard
Dear Readers, Almost 5 months ago I sent an e-mail to you my faithful friends. I did a wrong thing that needs to be cleared up. I heard by word of mouth about how Starbucks said they didn't support the war and all. I was having enough of that kind of talk and didn't do my research properly like I should have. This is not true. Starbucks supports men and women in uniform. They have personally contacted me and I have been sent many copies of their company's policy on this issue. So I apologize for this quick and wrong letter that I sent out to you. Now I ask that you all pass this email around to everyone you passed the last one to. Thank you very much for understanding about this. Howard C. Wright Sgt USMC 1st Force Rcon Co 1st Plt PLT RTO

fungus
1Bigdogg...don't sweat it. I work in IT, and man when you send one of those out, there's always 3 fools out on some rumour control sight giving you hell, telling you to check facts before you send them on. I created a disclaimer to add to my emails telling them I didn't care if they found it to not be true or otherwise...how do you really know those so called myth busters sites are actually truthful as well? We don't, but we assume they are because of the names or what they say they are about..... to make a long story a bit longer....the heck with it. Fat Charlie
When I was a lad back in the 40's people believed what they viewed in the movies to be true & that was real life. That must have been the beginning of "My life sucks". Later on (like wrestling, after a while you start to think something is not quite right) it was what the newspapers printed as gospal. Then TV became popular & guess what? Anyhow I can see the repetition.
Peterwinkle
I believe there's an old saying that goes something like this......DON'T BELIEVE A DAMN THING YOU HEAR AND ONLY HALF OF WHAT YOU SEE! :uhoh: I put my trust and belief in God first, then my family and best friends....I require proof from everyone else. Well, maybe you have seen him. I don't know. I'm only screwing with you. You brought it up. I'm not waiting for proof. I know he doesn't exsist. LOL You better hurry Jay. The Starbuck down on the corner here is going to close up soon due to a lack of business.

Well Scottdog, I'm not going to argue with you either but if your lucky enough to live as long as I have and gone through what I have you'll know there is a God and a great one at that. Before I knew I had cancer, I was having a lot of great pain. I asked God to take care of it for me........ and HE DID. God has been very good to me in my life and has had a lot of patience with me through the years, otherwise I wouldn't still be here..... Believe what you want.....I really don't care but it would be in your best interest to take a look at your life before it's too late. Ride safe my friend.
