Motorcycle road rage

Recommended Posts

Hang on a sec...

the motorcyclist allegedly pulled in front of the victim's car and backed into it, accelerating the engine and causing the rear tire of the motorcycle to damage the front bumper of the BMW, police said.

Must've been a Goldwing with reverse?

:veryangry: Thats what gives bikers a bad name! Talk about full of piss and vinigar and no where to go. What a peace of sh*t he is. :charger:

They should always try to identify the type of bike in any accident or incident.

Probably someone young, dumm and full of cumm on a rice rocket. A goldwing has to much sh*t on it to even see the tires.  :bhi:

Didn't realize it wasn't running.

What can we do to help?

Throw a fund raiser?

Maybe the rest of us are better off with it not running?

I dunno about this one...  There are 2 sides to every story.. and we only hearing one.. My BS meter is twitching..

I agree with Foosh... not too many bikes with a reverse out there..  If he did have a reverse, why would he go to the trouble to pull in front, put it in reverse, and back into him.  If he didnt have a reverse gear, why would he pull in front, walk it back and hit the throttle.. What for ?  Just to put rubber burns on the car bumper ?  Depending on the bike, he could be risking digging the rear fender of the bike into the tire, or wedging the rear tire under the bumper of the car.....   The story just isnt adding up..

Just speculation, but given the order of events (according to the driver), the damage to the front bumper of the car, and the response of the rider.. I'd say there is a good chance this guy rear ended the bike, and the rider went ape shit on him..

Its not like the driver of the Beemer is going to admit he tried to rear end a biker that pissed him off in traffic...

Maybe he just got a big fat "Smokey Joe" going and pelted the bimmer bumper with molten rubber? I can see a BMW owner blowing that out of purportion.

"Look at my bumper!" Wah, wah, wah! Sob.gif

Shouldn't have dis-ed a guys bike.

Even if it is a Honda.

Good point Foosh!

Sorta leaves me with other questions, parking lot, running over the guy several times, no witnesses, hmmm, alot of other possibilities beyond "road rage". Me thinks there is a whole nuther story we ain't gett'in.

Saw a guy get cut off on Hwy 80 the other day, as we approached "The Maze", where 80, 580, 880, and 980 meet at the Oakland end of the Bay Bridge. He's slowly splitting lanes in 20 mph traffic, not being obnoxious, no crackin' pipes, (he was on a stock Road Star). Guy in a little pickup in the next lane looked right at him through the rear window and swerved at him, still can't believe he didn't end up in my door (his helmet hit my mirror). Dickhead in the pickup laughed and then merged left into the diamond flyover lane towards the bridge, he wasn't even going the same way as the guy on the bike, just being a dick

Something certainly doesn't add up.

If a biker attacks my car with his bike, he ain' gonna be capable of running me over, cause I guarantee I'll flatten him .. with my car!

Of course, maybe a pussy-assed BMW driver wouldn't have the balls to stand up for himself.

But the backing up part... just doesn't smell right. :uhoh:

If you have done a burn out you know the bike stays in one place as long as you crank on the throttle. If that tire was just touching the bumper while doing a burn out it would melt the bumper in a heartbeat.

I would think most cruisers have too much rear fender to let the tire touch. Must have been a sport bike, you know how they can piss you off.

MeanGene.....good thing I didn't see that piece of shit...there'd be a bullet hole in his forehead, and one less driver out there to do stupid shit like that to bikers....someone should have gotten his number and reported him...that's assault with a deadly weapon in some states.....

Yeah, that was the worst part, the guy immediately merged left into the commuter "flyover" lane that goes to the bridge, he didn't even care about being in that lane, just turned away from "the scene of the crime", no chance to get a number. From Texas to California, the description "fat ugly Hispanic in a beat up Toyota pickup" doesn't get you too far

Lots of asshole cagers out there looking to score a bike, and of course they all give the standard answer, " I didn't see em", like what in the hell are they gonna say, "Well I saw him and had to swerve over three lanes and then left turn in front of him, but at least I got the sucker."

Rule of thumb drive defensively and get a CHL for when that don't work.
