Friggin' snow

Recommended Posts

Last night, I was awakened to a storm, the lightning was very close, almost instant boom after the light. It rained all night.

Today, I looked up at the Ortega Highway, and was quite surprised to see snow on the Ortega Mountains! This is the first time I have ever seen snow on the Ortegas, after all, it does lead down to the beach in San Juan Capistrano.

Will wonders ever cease? Kinda pretty,  but kinda cold too!

The snow was down to 800 feet!! It snowed at my old house. The winds we so bad here it broke the door to our Duck / Goose house so they were out mixing with the chickens and goats all day. Glad I got the goat house re-roofed when I did. I was even nice enough to let the dos in the garage last night. Oh, and one of our trash cans ended up two blocks away.....

That was a strange night last night.

Perfect day for an open house  :veryangry:

We've been up 'til 2AM EVERY night this week, preppin' for our place to be shown.  Got up yesterday at 6...there's a shit load of debris, trash, and a boat's cushion...just floating there at the back door.  Looked like a floating trailer park.

Mountain's looked mighty pretty, though.  I've never seen the snow that thick...or that low, on the Saddlebacks.
