Guest_ikonboard
He should get an appeal anyway ,the way the judge sent two jurors home during deliberations , If I was his attorney I'd be complaing about how the judge wasnt getting the verdict he wanted so he sent the jurors packing. Besides they really didnt do a very good job of convincing anyone that he actually killed them, he had more to gain if she were alive than dead! But then again , I dont really give a shit, either way! If he were an affluent black man (OJ) he would have walked!

FiremanDave
Interesting how OJ walked during the Clinton administration and Peterson is found guilty during the Bush one.....
MeanGene
Interesting how OJ walked during the Clinton administration and Peterson is found guilty during the Bush one..... Now that makes a lot of sense. Lessee, jury's list of things to think about: Weeks of evidence; who's President, Slick Willie or Dumya Most of the grownups are over the election fever now, maybe you haven't heard
FiremanDave
Just making an observation on the change in both the moral, idological and political climate, seems to me it has a lot more to do with what's going on than the facts of the cases. The twelve member jurys are a very good cross section of american values. Perhaps the real "grown ups" have moved on from the election to the other social issues that face our country. MeanGene
Or maybe OJ hired every high-powered famous lawyer he could find, and the prosecutor was a ditz. This WAS a post about a dickweed who killed his wife and son getting what he deserved, not another spot to soapbox about your personal political views. Enough with the f*#king politics. I say put Scott "Pretty Mouth" Peterson in general population in San Q- he won't last a week

Not a real conservative neighborhood by any stretch of anyone’s imagination. The twelve member jurys and their alternates only represent the local pool they were pulled from as the fish in the Colorado River do not represent the fish in Chappaquiddick. To even think that the political climate of the general population in the USA has any impact on a jury made up of people in that are is laughable at best. Do you also think that had Kerry got elected jury’s in Texas would stop sending guilty people to their death? That is the beauty of how our founding fathers set up our country. It doesn’t turn on a dime.
