To those whom care

Recommended Posts

As ya'll might recall, I was in the ol 77 bird a month ago and had a truck full of mexicans left turn in front of me.

20 stitches in the left elbow where it went thru the window, 2 stitches in the noggin where the hood came through the windshield and got me.

Car is settled out, they gave me $5K value - 13% salvage... I keep the mess and they cut a check for 4350$.

Awaiting the personal settlement now.  Hoping for $10K.

The elbow is fairly healed up, nicely scarred though.  Started back weightlifting to regain strength.  Lost about 50%.  Good mobility, minimal pain, but it still feels like an open wound all the time. :veryangry:

ANYWAY... thanks to all whom offered kind words.  When the ca$h comes in, going to

#1  pay off the scoot :moped:

#2  maybe get a tank shifter !

Been looking in the parts section, and gave up after about 15 pages.  Who makes that killer tank shifter with the heel clutch?  Anyone make one with the clutch on the lever?

That would be my good friend Dale and his brother at War Path.

With their set up you can ride standard or use the heel clutch and tank shift.

Here is a picture of it on BlingBling's bike.
