pablo94
Hey All, it has been about 15K miles and several years since I had to install brake pads. Where can I get the good ones these days? Mine is an 01 Spirit. I know I should post it in the Spirit thread, but I don't know how much traffic we get on this site nowadays. Everyone seems to be on that other forum now. But most of those folks don't know anything about our Gilroy bikes...

CHIEF DOC 99
Pablo, Lyndall is in Cali. You can order from ebay & have 'em in a couple days. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=lyndall+7138&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xlyndall+7182.TRS1&_nkw=lyndall+7182&_sacat=0 I'd get the Gold Plus for your Bremco brakes calipers. CHIEF DOC 99
Since this showed up in the General Questions section, I thought it would be good to include all Garlick brake pads in the show n tell. King's Mountain 2009/2013 & 111 Thunderstroke Chiefs 2014/2018 as well as 2015/2018 Scouts are also able to get the Lyndall brake pads to fit those Latter Day Indians. http://www.lyndallbrakes.com/ 2009/2013 King's Mountain Chief front brake pads are 7138s just like the '02/'04 Garlik Chiefs. The rear pad is also Brembo ~ a 2 piston throwback to '80s BMW bikes http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-2013-Indian-Chief-Vintage-Kevlar-Carbon-Rear-Brake-Pads-/131516075056?hash=item1e9ef80c30:g:nd4AAOSwo0JWHwJQ&vxp=mtr Not Lyndall, but, Kevlar/CarbonFiber pads @ $8/ set , who can bitch?
