A have been blessed with the power to survive. After all these years I'm still alive. I believe im miracles. I believe in a better world for me and you. Oh, I believe im miracles. pablo94
RIP to all the Ramones. They could make the most noise in 3 minutes with the same three chords as any band ever. A good dose of Blitzkrieg Bop can still be heard from my stereo from time to time. P

zolkalf
Excellent Tribute LR Thanks! Great pictures! Drinking Beer heavily and Listening to "Bonzo Goes to Blitzberg" LOUDLY as I type this. I saw the Ramones 3 times and always thought they were one of America's greatest Rock and Roll bands. They didn't bow to the status quoe, called there own shots and did it there way. First Joe Strummer, then Joey Romone and now Johnny. RIP "You've got to pick up the pieces C'mon, sort your trash You better pull yourself back together Maybe you've got too much cash Call, call the law When you gonna turn yourself in? Yeah You're a politician Don't become one of Hitler's children Bonzo goes to bitburg and goes out for a cup of tea As I watched it on TV somehow it really bothered me Drank in all the bars in town for an extended foreign policy Pick up the pieces..... My brain is hanging upside down, I need something to slow me down My brain is hanging upside down and I need something to slow me down Shouldn't wish you happiness, wish her the very best Fifty thousand dollar dress Shaking hands with your highness See through you like cellophane You watch the world complain, but you do it anyway Who am I, am I to say Bonzo goes to bitburg then goes out for a cup of tea As I watched it on TV somehow it really bothered me Drank in all the bars in town for an extended foreign policy Pick up the pieces...... My brain is hanging upside down, I need something to slow me down My brain is hanging upside down and I need something to slow me down If there's one thing that makes me sick It's when someone tries to hide behind politics I wish that time could go by fast Somehow they manage to make it last My brain is hanging upside down I need something to slow me down"
Guest_ikonboard
I have seen the Ramones dozen's of times and still have the ticket stubs. I was there at the riot after their show at the Hollywood Palladium. Funny things was when I first heard them I was not impressed, too slow. But a friend of mine took me to see them live, he told me you HAVE to see them live!. He was right! Most bands turn a 3 minute song into 6 minutes live. The Ramones turn a one minute song into a 30 second song. When you think about what crap was being call Rock when they started playing you see what they were trying to do with Rock and Roll. Take it back to its roots... just a bit more pissed off.
