Reinie
I'm not an engineer or a draftsman but I sketched out right hand and left hand views of what I think a new Indian Four should look like. I based a lot of the styling on the Thunderstroke 111 so I called it Thunderstroke DNA. Its a push rod two valve per cylinder inline four displacing 1502cc with a 75mm bore and an 85mm stroke. It has external cooling fins but could and possibly should have water jackets inside. It has two separate rocker arm covers that have the same diagonal finning as the TS111 and the finning on the exhaust side is separated to mimmick the old 441 fours. The downward firing finned exhaust spigots are also separated individually. The intake side features eight chromed push rod tubes. The motor should be torquey and have plenty of flywheel effect which is ideal for a cruiser/tourer and the narrow bores should make the motor shorter in length for a midsize bike. How do i attach any pictures to my post??

2blackbelts
The thoughts of an Indian 4 really spurs the imagination, however, when reality checks in is when we realize it won't happen. Polaris has their plate full with new Chief and Scout models as well as making huge bucks on Indian Cigars. I honestly feel that no matter what, it will be a long time before we see a 4, and if we do you can bet it will be "Bently Priced"

Old Legend
Why not make a V4 with 2 of the 111 motors, now that would be a hell of an engine.
