Ken . . . glad you were able to post about your flat rather than having someone else have to post what happened to you. Please give us a warning next time you plan to ride . . .

AND the hits just keep on coming...

I went for something to eat at the fast food place next door. As I was finishing up a guy came running in - he had seen my Indian t-shirt and figured that the bike in the motel parking lot was mine.... anyway, my bike fell over.

With the rear tire pretty much non-existent, the kickstand stood the bike up too straight.. yeah I was worried, but thought it would be ok. Well I was wrong. Three guy from the hotel helped me get her back up and turned around such that the kickstand faces down hill. One guy had a spool of wire that he wedged under the side to hold it in place. I think I'm good for now.

What the hell else can go wrong today??

Ken,

What a major bummer dude! When it rains it pours! Did the tip over scratch things up much?

The 2010 Darkhorse.

Ouch ....

I cram my helmet under my bike (2000 Chief) opposite the kick stand so that won't happen.

Because of how low it is and it still runs the stock kickstand

When the tire blew I somehow was able to keep the bike roughly upright. Came REALLY close to going down several times as the bike went out of control.. It was one of those moments when you pause and think "how the fuck am I still alive?"

It was after dark when the bike went over in the parking lot. I didn't see any damage - I'll have to wait for daylight to get a good look.

Well guess what?

Indian of Wichita doesn't have a service department. The HD dealer is closed today

IUnbelievable!

Didja find the hole in the tire or was it a valve stem failure?

150mm tire should be easy to find?

Look for a good Indian friendly Indy shop in the area.

Maybe someone on here knows of one open on Mondays?

THANKS!

I'll give them a call.

Try these old timers.

They may know of the better shops in the area if they don't deal in tires...

Bummer. Glad you weren't hurt. Hope all goes well from this point forward. Wish there was something I could do, but you'll be in my prayers. (That's usually the one thing I CAN do for people in trouble, but who are "out of my reach".) Good luck, bud.
