Airpirate
Congratulations to the band of low life, shitheads in DC, they have now placed the America in debt to the tune of 18 TRILLION, the interest alone is almost unsustainable, oh yeah 70% of that number has been achieved by none other the barry "it's good to be king" scumbag administration. Way to "fundamentally change" a great nation to a disaster in the making, adding 5 million more dependents is anther final nail. Thank you to the uninformed, STUPID a holes that placed these idiots in power.

dk007
Well, the spending should slow down some since he doesn't own both theHouse and the Senate anymore.......probably like dragging your feet to stop a speeding train though.
LabRat
GOP leadership are progressives that like big government just like the Dems - they just like spending in other areas. Boehner already signaled they will do ANOTHER omnibus spending bill rather than trying to cut. DC's idea of a cut is a cut in the rate of growth. Baseline budgeting is evil.

quigley3
In the wacky world of Washington, if an agency needs a 5% budget increase but asks for a 10%, and is only given 9%, that is counted as a "Budget Cut". Simple accounting rules do not apply. I read an interesting OpEd this morning that elected officials should be considered an entitlement program. They have a right to salary, benefits and perks that enable their reelection, with no pay for performance monitoring, other than some pretty skewed polls. There is no sense of responsibility to earn those benefits. Moreover they are concerned with other similar groups to ensure their status with any accountability. Sounds like an entitlement program to me.... If republicans were serious about reining in spending, they would go back to a line item budget, instead of omnibus. Start to defund some of these programs. Dirty Harry is trying to put together a budget (first time in how many years???) before Christmas vacation. He wants an omnibus (not a continuing resolution), fully funding all aspects of government, so that the incoming class cannot defund ObamaCare or executive amnesty. Sadly it appears that the current republicans are willing to go along with it. McConnell and Boehner have both said they do not want to shut down the government, so they have pulled that card from the deck. Despite tough talk, neither seems to have the balls to do the job. They seem to be more concerned about 2016 than 2015. If they don't take care of 2015, there may not be 2016 to worry about.... I need a tar paper shack in Montana...... v-rodcpa
Hell. He had to pay back all of his contributors that helped get him elected. He didn't have it on him (surprisingly since he was a former Community Organizer and Senator), so he had to steal it from us.
