I'm late but making up for it 01/01/12. 100+ missions and I'm still a beginner compared to some. my missions are all in the 200 mile range though as i'm out in the sticks.

I've been a member for the last 5 years...attend as many missions as I can (unfortunately only a handful each year). This is a great organization that I'm extremely proud to be part of.

Since 05 with over 100 rides done.

Plus one for my father in-law attended by the PGR two Januaries ago in Indiana. Having seen the respect from both sides, I count myself lucky.

I'm off to a mission today. In the cage. This is for you Harley haters. Mine is down. Running on just one cylinder. Codes say short in O2 or injector circuit. I'm the worlds worst on electrical. Guess it knows I'm wanting an Indian is going to give me fits now. Only has 20K but couldn't hold together until I get it paid off and can get another loan for an Indian. Oh well. Timing is good. Got a few more months on extended warranty(I'm second owner but it had one), so will also get another problem looked at that has not become solid and sounds like reading about what it might be I don't want it to. A bang and gear grinding on hot starts. So it goes to the Harley doctor next week. The soonest they could get it in.

Just thought I would let you laugh and point fingers since I know you like doing that. :rasp:

Thanks, It's not like most of us haven't been there done that, but I will take the bait, point a finger (NO not that one) and laugh a bit... Just like them fukrz were doing when I had the flat tyre on Sun. prolly 25 H-D's went by & not a one of them slowed down much-less stopped to ask if I needed any help

Great sounds like I've got good company. In nor Cal we have the new Igo Veterans Cemetery, only a hour from my home, some friends and relatives reside there now. Serving them will be a honor

That's more of a gang mentality I think. People get stupid in groups. That's one reason I never ride in on except for PGR or American Legion escorts. Groups don't help the motorcyclist image one darn bit. Anyone one of them riding by themselves would probably stopped. Sorry for your bad experience. Shouldn't be that way.

Chris, $30,000 and a t-shirt don't make you know the stuff we have learned over the past 4 decades. You think Paul would ride by? Stu? Bob? Louie?Kelly? Hank?Da Newf? Big Al? 'Lil Man? Maldev? Eddie?Indian T? could go on and on with names, we haven't dreamed this way of life, we have lived it. There have been times in young Micmac's life when all I had for transport was a bike. My daughter was almost born in a side hack, I carried my Mamma's ashes to the graveyard on my Chief. Don't make me ANY better than any man. Just the way I roll. You rode more miles last year than they ever will in their life. Those boutique boyz who rode by you? They would have made a solid life long friend had they stopped to help you. They ain't wired like that. They had to hurry up and check their stock portfolio, check their text messages, get a manicure and sip a latte. You didn't need their ass anyway.

I would disagree my friend, i would term it FUCKTARD mentality. It is not just the denizens of Kali.

What their fucking problem is, bleached flour? MSG? Dropped on their head?

They were in a hurry to get to a HOG event so they could point at their bike and say "That's mine", and what they have done to it, and how much the extras costs...

We have been on IIRA group rides and stopped ... or slowed down and waved off.

And no, not just for the guys our group that broke down. Although we do stop for them too, most of the time. :lookaround2:

I think it's more the ... everyone has a cell phone so no one is REALLY stranded mentality.
