TallRider
Many of us have read Dr. Mark's posts about Old Chief, and many have expressed concern, support, and are now making contributions via PayPal to help financially. It was just over a year ago when I was going in for an angiogram and we thought either stents or additional surgery would be needed. Hasbin offered his support and kept in touch via text with Valerie throughout the procedure - and other than reading his posts, hasbin and I had never met. But that didn't matter; he was there to offer his help and support. Now I can pay it forward for someone I've never met, and although it might not be much - collectively what we do will make a difference. This is what makes the IIRA more than just a rider's group - it's a family. For all our differences, we take care of our own. There but for the grace of God go most of us . . . jglace
I have always felt this way since being associated with this group. Always willing to provide shelter, food, or prayer for a fellow biker! They also throw in the occasional fib's and barbs. Jeff

The focus of our association is on the enjoyment and fellowship of riding motorcycles. The IIRA is not an internet group for motorcycle enthusiasts but a riders association for people who love to ride. Membership in the Iron Indian Riders Association is for anyone who enjoys riding with others in a common association, and our associations' policies are very simple. Anyone who rides a motorcycle can join. All brands of bike are welcomed. Members DO NOT have to show up to any association meetings. No tasks for you to perform. No major commitments! You get out of the IIRA what you put into it. However, we do ask a few things from our members: Always ride safe. Do not give the association a bad name. Do your best to support your association, its members and chapters. Often imitated...........NEVER DUPLICATED ! I'm damned disappointed if I check in here and don't see someone diss'n someone else. If things get slow tho, I can always count on Eddie and Brock to get pissy with each other, or anyone, actually! One thing that's always amazed me about this group, is how so many good lookin' wimmin could end up with so many UGLY mens!

You and me both brother. Haven't met any members here, yet. That doesn't matter. The fact that we all share the passion for a type of motorcycle is the tie that binds. I do the same thing for members of the car forums I'm on. We like to help out each other and yes, we have a sense of pride in taking care of our own. It's good Karma.
