XV62
Dino wasn't there last year, or maybe two, but when he was there this is the motorsickle that won either best in show or peoples choice if it was entered. All the other bikes all cluttered up with fringe and feathers and flames sucked the hind teat. So evidently it ain't just me that feels that way. Just nobody else will say it in public, since most of that votin' is done anonymously.

CKelly
There's nothing wrong with a little bit of fringe. With that said, you can't have enough fringe.
BONMYI
Yep I always preferred less fringe and stuff to a solid clean bike.....damn miss my Gilroy LOL Yup, it seems when they're gone, it's always the fond memories that survive.. All of the bad memories seem ta vanish with the bike or, go with it for new owner to experience.. LOL Hopefuly not, Dave
Brock
actually the new owner has not had any problems. The Aussie Govt guys fucked up the handlebar controls so they had to replace those. Then the ORIGINAL coil finally went out on her...but otherwise she has ran strong and proud since day I sold her almost 4 years ago now. Kenai
Its a tough and sensative call as Their all beautiful machines in their own right. But clearly when one thinks of an Indian especially a Chief and its overall appearance, minimalism never comes to mind as their strong suit no matter what year. That said I love the minimalist look of Dino's Chief. It is perfect, clean and precise. Some folks also appreciate achieving their Indian's limits. CKelly's 03' Roadmaster is clearly a labor of love and work of art that could easily be unveiled at a special engagement at the Guggenheim resulting in being the receipient of some art award category. Beauty has always been in the eye of the beholder. My objective with the Bear has been to optimize it equating to equal parts of performance, functionality, reliability, durability and appearance.... Yep still working at it Regards Kenai Edited November 30, 2013 by Kenai

Yep still working at it Regards Kenai I know you're right. I definitely prefer the minimalist look. Don't like 'em too busy at all. And I just like to give CK all the schitt I can. He deserves all of it and then some.
injun46
CK, you can extend that sissy bar so the pad is higher off that Corbin seat, and makes for a more comfortable back rest. I extended mine by cutting and welding in a 3" piece of DOM tubing, then wrapped it in leather (cause I was too cheap to have it chromed). You can see the leather right below the pad. Looks better, too. Just a thought.......... Edited November 30, 2013 by injun46
