Tin Whiskers
I don't have an opinion yet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNOyDMzn2bY I think it is in Manhattan. Suv with Man, wife and child vs sport bikes. I believe he was taken out and beaten. Suffering a broken leg. hardway
hard to tell but it looked like the sport bike kids started it by surounding and braking in front of the SUV. The SUV reacted in fear from that point on? that was my take on first viewing.
RickkciR
I've had an opinion since I saw this yesterday.. there are multiple videos out there of their whole day which is a fiasco. SUV Driver was justified. I'm surprised he didn't take out a few more. I would have In some of their other videos.. there is a cruiser ( looks to be a metric ) and .. friggin off road 4 wheelers in the mix... fukin' city hoodlums Edited October 1, 2013 by rickkcir

LabRat
Bunch of F'n animals. Where the hell were the police? A Range weighs about 6000 points, that sure has hell would have been my first line of defense.

toycar10
It looked to me like they were being ass wipes and stoped short infront of him and he hit one them it went downhill from there. Range rover with 4 wheel drive I would have driven over them backed over them slide over them what ever it took maybe pulled out the tire iron and made a stand. They may have won due to the numbers but drag me out and beat me I dont think so.
Chickasaw Indian Outlaw
Yep, seen this earlier today! The bike did stop short, he did get tapped and it was the right thing for the Range Rover to move on but he should have just started slowing down and took them out as he drove one by one! Thank God that I live in a state with good gun control laws! We have the right to carry and defend ourselves, I would think he would have been justified to apply deadly force fearing for his life and the life of his loved ones!
LabRat
People up there drive like A-holes. I had a job on the island for about 10 months (thank God it didn't work out). Anyway I used to live in our motorcoach (MUCH cheaper and bigger than any apartment I could have rented) and drove it back and forth a few times. The number of people that pull that shit in front of a 60,000 coach would blow your mind. Luckily I never rolled over one, but came close a few times. Blu
Most people do not understand the difference between these morons and those just out for a ride. So now there will likely be backlash against all on two wheels. New York is all over that kind of overreaction. Can't wait.

LabRat
Hey! I'm one of those NY A-holes! LOL - I have a lot of family there. The roads SUCK and you take your life in your hands riding a bike around the NYC area. Although do note I said people drive like Aholes - I didn't call them aholes
toycar10
I had a job offer on long island and turned it down I could not deal with working in the city.
LabRat
We thought it would work out and was a good job. I'm so glad I never relocated the family there. I used to commute home on the weekends - a good chunk of it on my bike. Learned to really hate the place. I had a job offer on long island and turned it down I could not deal with working in the city.
Tin Whiskers
Good to see the driver did not get a broken leg. Public opinion is running against the bikes. Over 3 million views since yesterday. I bet a crackdown on these bastards is coming. In the link above I read 55 bikes confiscated. I like that. Someone asked, "where were the police?" They must have showed in force to get that many bikes.
PA CHFTN
Sadly, this event reflects very negatively on the Motorcycle Community as a group. The public don't necessarily take the time to understand this is just a small group of kids that allowed their anger consume them. Very sad. I did have a lot of respect for the father of the boy (bike driver) who pulled up short and got run over. The father in an interview basically defended the actions of the SUV driver. At least they left the mother and child alone. I imagine if the driver had been driving a compact car, and never got past the original accident. TerribleTabo
I ride in Manhattan a lot and these type of squids annoy the hell out of me. They like to hold up traffic on highways by blocking cars with a whole row of bikes so they can do their stunts and act all crazy if you try to pass them. I feel bad for the guy that was paralyzed but he was asking for trouble. There are a lot of these clowns around here. They get mob mentality and some power trip out of harassing people. They act like they are invincible. I honestly wouldn't blame the guy if he ran even more of them over. Tin Whiskers
I mistakenly said 55 bikes from the attack were confiscated. Per NBC news... .He said police had fanned out around Manhattan to watch for trouble, arresting 15 bikers and confiscating 55 motorcycles unrelated to the attack on the Range Rover. LabRat
These thugs are going to walk. DA refuses to prosecute the guy who started it by brake checking the Rover and also the one that was trying to break the rear passenger window to get the kid. http://nypost.com/2013/10/02/da-wont-charge-bike-assault-thug-in-suv-beating/

Tin Whiskers
Two hundred 911 calls were placed concerning these bikes that day. A bit outrageous.
