My son and I will be there. Got to take me Cushman's up there for the antique show Bronson (Southern Metal Choppers) puts on every year. They should be through with my son's bike this year and have it in his display. I got to work that weekend so don't know what time I will be there.

Would like to go, but my buddy who lived around there moved out here and now I have no bike to ride. It's still on my "To do" list.

If nothing else, it's worth hanging out on the grounds and watching the 'parade'.. that goes all afternoon and evening and wee hrs' into the morning.... then.. starts all over again.

The picture attached with the two hot chicks setting on the bike on the right is my sons bike that they have been building for I guess two years. They are about through with it. It will be at the ROT rally displayed by Southern Metal Choppers. They been working some late hrs on it son is still up at Bronson's shop said they were going to fire it up tonight. He is suppose to ride it in the parade they have on Friday night. Will have my two Cushman's in Bronson's antique motorcycle display agin this year unless I sell them this week. I think we have to take them up there Thrusday afternoon. Will see if this works I ain't never posted no pictures before.

Seems like two yrs but actually maybe a 1.5 yr. I got me Indian around 1st of August last yr from Mark Moses and they were getting parts for it. Work on it a little here and there now with the ROT next weekend they are trying to get it finished. He has other bikes that he is building too plus all the normal work going on so he don't get to work on the customs usually till after hours. Son ain't in no hurry he has his Softail Custom he rides. But it is about done it will be at the ROT finished are not. It has the Ultimate 127 ci engine, Baker 6sp and Baker open belt primary the exhaust come from Australia, springer front end forget who made the wheels but they are some huge spokes on tubeless rims.

Well my son went back to Austin this afternoon met him on the way home. They working on it agin think the clutch cable came in for it this afternoon the original one they had made was not the right length so they were suppose to get a replacement. Hmmm am I talking to meself? He cleaned the two Cushmans up and has them loaded in the trailer. I guess we take them over to the ROT tomorrow then back to Bronson's shop and get his bike then back to the ROT. Bronson's already got his trailer loaded up with probably 4-5 bikes. ya I talking to meself. :rotfl: I think I lost it.

We went by Bronson's shop after we drop off the Cushman's at the ROT for the antique bike show. He was just getting ready to fire it up for the first time and it started up. Had a oil leak from a cracked nipple going to the oil filter but that was replaced. Now they just got to do some more heating/cooling cycles clean it up and get it to the ROT. Dam that engine is quiet running compared to a Harley.

They already had one death this morning think around 1:00am. A man and woman hit a guardrail. The woman was killed the man is in serious condition they thought he was intoxicated and riding at a high speed neither had a helmet on. Whether they were in town for the ROT or not they do not know.
