That's way cool, I would just use that and stay away from any rockers, some MC clubs get bitchy about Rockers

Head read up on this a few years back.. quick search pulled up this:

• A one-piece patch normally signifies a family club or Social motorcycle club when it's done with respect to the area clubs.

• A two-piece patch can have many different meanings as long as it's done with respect to the area clubs.

• A three-piece patch normally means that the club is a Traditional MC club. With the top rocker being the club name, the middle being their patch and the bottom being the territory they exist in. There are also a few 3pc patch clubs where the bottom rocker has something other than territory, such as a saying.

And .. since you also live in TX...:

...........most clubs are not outlaw clubs and don’t wear a top and bottom rocker. They may have a top rocker but if they have a bottom patch it will not have State, City or County wording on it , many times it will be the member’s road name. For example any club in Texas (unless it’s grand fathered by the Bandido’s) that’s not affiliated with Bandidos, (and other than a police club) are not allowed to fly the "Texas" patch ("Bar" or "Rocker") on the back. They have even forced some police clubs to remove the Texas rocker. Also, 99% of Bandido support clubs cannot wear Texas on the back. The Bandidos claim that right as an MC (Motorcycle Club) and will aggressively approach you if you are seen wearing it on the back of your colors. Most states have its dominant 1% club where the same rule applies. The Bandidos are the dominant club in Texas as well as several other states.

I bought mine a couple of years ago and just last week decided to have it stitched up on one of my lighter jackets as a B-Day present to myself. I need a patch for the front vest to go over the area of my heart (thinking IIRA small patch) and another one or two for the arm sleeves of different Indian patches I've seen. I wanted the lower rocker to be the Indian Motorcycle patch from the factory but wasn't sure how the styles would look? I've got plenty of other Indian jackets etc. but for some reason never got around to this one. I'm having the 10th Anniversary chenille IIRA sewn on my vest also and likely go the Indian Motorcycle patch sewn on the top like the one on the site store. I'm always open to other ideas and was looking for other folks thoughts. Thanks Rickkir for all the great information on what the rockers mean, I had no idea on a lot of what you've said and its good info.

I historically never got caught up in the whole MC thing. However , here in E Texas we have a few smaller MC clubs scattered around and I see a few Bandidio's at some of the Rally's I attend; ROT in Austin being the most prominent ( they show up in the hundreds and stake off their own area.. literally). I see quite a few just at some of the bar stops I make (hey .. I like cheap beer, hole in the wall joints!) .. I didn't realize how prevalent the whole M/C mentality is , even today ..until I did some reading recently ( books on Hells Angles, Outlaws, etc ) . Point being, give them space and/or respect, and most likely one will have zero issues. Hell , I remember one night at ROT when I rode a metric .. getting gas... a group of Latino's (don't remember the MC name ) were huddled around one of the bikes .. no one had any tools .. I pulled out my pack of metric crap tools.. and they used them to find a solution... by the time they left.. they were all calling me Sir... interesting). But, f*ck with one, and you might as well have called them all out. That's the part i 'missed' . I've got a big ego as many of us do, and until I read the 'facts' , I would have thrown down with a single member in a sec' if the situation had ever forced itself. Knowing what I do now... I would seriously evaluate a situation ..any situation .. where you see a group of guys wearing their colors.. even from disparate clubs, in the same area.

Some things just aren't worth it and I would most likely walk today .. even in a one-one situation ... if given the option.

.............. me just rambling after my first cup of java.........................

you see the patch and rockers on just about anything anymore. the "mc" or 1% patch, etc... is what I look for if I' wanna be concerned if its a actual 1%er club.

I was asked to be prospected last year. I do like some of the aspects of it, but if theres any kind of racial predjudice involved in the code, then I'm not interested

Been wear'n my brand new Indian leather vest [see photos on Indian site] around town for a few weeks now. 100 miles north of LA. Some responses I get are very interesting.

Recently, at local Sears department store, Salesman started to comment on my "nice vest".....then he said, "motorcycle" and I kept a poker face on. WHole bunch of Sears sales people dummied-up real quick.

I was referencing the 1% clubs.. we've got quite a few out here.. .. my ass is too old to prospect and put up with that BS.. Would have been 'fun' back in the day though...

Get the big Indian script logo, and put if on your sleeve. Forget anything to accompany the patch, or you could find out real quick how shallow the rider brotherhood really is. Those 1%s are great guys, right up till they are threatening your life.

Some of you guys watch too much TV.....

..nobody is gonna shoot, stab or punch Mark for wearing that patch he posted.

Adding an Indian Motorcycle patch above it will not get him drug behind a pan head down a dirt road.....

Ain't no MC's riding around looking for the likes of anybody in here....they understand its just a civilian costume.

Mark, it's already been said, just don't add a third patch on the bottom with WestTexas on it. Wear your Carpet patch proudly! It's been to "church"

Me personally .. never said that.. However, if you start adding a top *and* bottom Rocker and go hang out where a bunch of HD Boyz have their piece of sh*t HD's parked outside, and wearing their colors ... something to be aware of.

If you like to go hang out at Strokers every Sunday and FTS in Sturgis.. wtf.. knock yourself out without concerns :)

Trust me when i say that some clubs will also make a deal out of soft colors or T-shirts. Have have clubs tell me that i would have to turn shirt out side out. The politics of biker clubs is really complex. This could also include the Iron Indian riders patch depending on where your at.
