New Interview Of Indian Principals

Recommended Posts

check out Cyril Huze blog. He has posted a video (28 mins long) that was done at Daytona Week I think with the VP, Designer, Antique Mike guys, and someone else. Apparently they also unveiled a complete engine. WHERE ARE OUR PICS??? I know someone from this forum had to attend!!!

It's definately a look into the future. Recorded July 2013. They haven't unveiled the engine. Crankshaft, but not the engine.

Yeah, he got his dates jacked up. It was recorded Jan 2013 in NY at the International Motorcycle Show. I don't know when Daytona Bike Week is so I got the impression that was when they were going to unveil the engine. Thought maybe it already happened.

October is a good guess Sir Hobbit :ooh2: How 'bout that?

Daytona Bike Week is usually the second weekend in March so 6 or 7 weeks from now we see the new engine.

Didn't know Wolfe was going to be part of the ressurection? Sounds like good marketing, hope they fill the expectations of the masses!

I figure Mike is to Indian, what Gunny is to Victory .. pure marketing... there's no better option currently with public recognition. One could argue Kiwi Mike is a better option, but again.. no public recognition unfortunately.

Kiwi Mike rubbed a lot of the new Indian owners the wrong way when Gilroy was in production. Riders weren't welcomed at his shop. He's since changed his mind and even attended a few Iron Indian events. As a public person tied to the brand, he simply doesn't have enough reach outside of the people that already know him or ride Indian. Wolfe has a much broader audience outside the few and the faithful.

Interesting tidbit. Didn't know that. I've seen on his Site he does a custom front end for the Gilroys which looks pretty cool. Also, There used to be a business relationship with crazy horse but never figured out that one

I think Mike Wolfe is a good choice. He is a quick thinker, he is very well known and he definately has a passion for Indian motorcycles. Also a vast knowledge of them. Probably more than most of us. MOST people like the show and like him. He will do good for a while. You can't use someone who is just known to us, or is known only to Indian people. Somebody name another person who is an Indian guy (or girl) and is well known and likeable.
