Dr. Mark
And now, From the "What the HELL were they thinking??" department: The new Bell Rogue. I guess it looks sorta cool. Sort of. If you want to look like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, or maybe a character from Mad Max... But, I mean, this thing has all the drawbacks of a full-face helmet, or a convertible, with none of the added safety! Well...I guess it might keep you from smearing your mug along the concrete, but that muzzle thing is held on with a MAGNET. To disconnect it? You lift up and out. You know, sort of like the same sort of movement that might be generated and, say... a facial impact on the chin. Brilliant!!!! Oh well, at least it'll keep the wind and rain off your face.

TerribleTabo
Funny, I was just watching the helmet video last night. It looks like some sort of riot gear to me. Not bad though.
hardway
I'd rather get the osbe tornado helmet. the face shield is useless, but at least it's cool.

I've been itching to get the Osbe Tornado in Military Green too, for my Military theme motorcycle. ...but maybe I'm going a bit overboard with trying to match my helmet to the bike? lol

Dr. Mark
What the F&^% ! Jeff That's a $259 "What the F&^% !" The Osbe looks like it might actually, sort of, provide a leetle bit if facial protection in a crash. Plus, it reminds me of my old SPH-3B...only without all the sweat and screaming and stuff... Jeez stu, take a chill pill. Of course it's fun. I just don't care to smack my grill on the concrete, if I don't have to. Last May was about the 6th or 7th (relatively serious) time I been down in my life, and I find that I am healing less...well....enthusiastically, shall we say... as I get older. Hell, I still gotta get my right ACL and medial menicus repaired from that little jaunt into the ditch. Had't kept me offa the scoot none though. I just dress better for the occasion, now.

beebop
It looks to be more comfortable than a full face mask. Anyone with the guts to be seen on a Vic tour bike should have no trouble braving one of these.
