Sam Hayne
I was able to talk on the phone a few times to Bob. Have also bought some merch from him. He has done alot to help people around the Indian community. Just want to say thanks & good luck This e-mail was sent out today. Hope it's alright to post this here. I have been in the motorcycle community for a long time. After a great deal of thought and consideration I have decided to take a position outside of Indian Triumph of Fargo. Having two kids in college and two more that will be attending right around the corner was the major consideration of my acceptance of a new position. I can’t tell you how much of an honor it has been to interact with all of the great people I have had the pleasure to call my friends from all over this world! It has been my pleasure to serve you all and I hope stay in contact with everyone! I am not much for long goodbyes; I prefer a permanent hello by far! I want everyone to know that Indian Triumph of Fargo is being left in Great hands and they will operate as business as usual. I am extremely proud to have been a part of that organization! Thanks again and I hope to see you all down the road someday! Prof. O
To lose both Bob and Joe in one foul swoop is very disheartening. I am so confused about this brand right now. Really questioning my desires to stay in this game.

Hork
your bomber isnt up there all apart right now is it? Was trying not to cause shit but yes, it is. Wondering if I need to get a U-Haul and go get it as is or place a lien before it's too late....... Seriously fucking concerned, Hork

Hork
Hork that really sucks.... Good luck. Steve Thanks Steve. I can't give details right now but based on a conversation from just last week, let's just say I am feeling surprised, betrayed, and pissed at the same time. More to follow. Prof. O
Okay everyone is waiting on a meeting with the owners to decide Fargo's next step. Things should be known by end of tomorrow or end of week. Callling them right now will get you only a tentative "we are not sure right now" comment. My sense of it is they are trying to let us know things will be the same and possibly Joe might still do some wrenching for them. None of this is absolute, they are as surprised as we are. Let's give them some breathing room to figure it out.

I did not so much as get a email or phone call and I have a bike there. Hork

Prof. O
Agreed, but things may not change. I would give yourself to weeks end before hauling out a trailer, also remember the folks there were caught as flat footed as we are. This came from a source there. PPScoutrider
This came as news to me as well, and I live right here. I have not talked with Bob in a few weeks tho. I have to be in Fargo on Friday, Hork, so I will stop by the shop and see if I can find anything out. Is there another thread that discusses Joe leaving Indian of Fargo that I missed? Eff, what to do with my bikes now...what to do...
Prof. O
Yeah Joe is currently out but there seems to be hope he may still participate again, not sure of the timing or method of his potential involvement.

I no longer have access to your email or contact info. Just shoot me a message and I'll get you my number so I can let you know what is going on with your bike. I told the guys at the shop that I would come in and finish all the remaining work on the bike once they had the parts in order. I do not want to leave anyone in a bad spot, especially you, so I will be donating my time to finishing your bike and consulting on some of the stuff at the shop.
xtreamedrtbker
Just for the record. When I left itf I did not know Bob was leaving the business. It came to a shock to me and all of his current employees. Everyone in the business did not know until the customers past that email on to them. Even though I am no longer working there, I am here to help anyway I can and I do have my own personal shop to work out of.
Sam Hayne
Well here's to hoping Polaris gets their crap together & gets some good dealers. Alot of Indian dealers have fallen by the way side & there are only a few left.......maybe Mark will take up the Power Commander business.
