XV62
News is on tonight, I'm off doin' something else, wife says come here you won't believe this. Our local news is doin' the deal covering the event and the only motorsickle mfg they show is the Indian display. Some pretty nice looking bikes, some nice coverage, I might have to rethink going this year. We went to this shindig the first five years or so, but it has gotten so fukkin' huge, it's a zoo. Way too crowded for my tastes. To my knowledge, no other Indian entity has shown up for this event.

It seems like anything like this starts out well and becomes alot of everything. It's good to find events that are still young or local to the area

I flew to Fayetteville and was talking to a local biker; supposedly this thing has gotten so big that HD chose to unveil their 2013s at BBB, not Sturgis. They were excited because that obviously puts their rally on the big time map. Hork

XV62
We got up there today. Got the Vic kinda nastied up through four pop up showers, but none at the event. Indian was represented in a joint setup by Polaris Indian and the Omaha Indian dealer. Talked to a fella named Bob VanVett with Indian, not the dealership. He started up the conversation cuz I was the only person with an Indian shirt, besides staff, in the tent full of folks in H-D garb. One of Indian of Charlotte's. According to him Indian is for sure part of the Polaris family now. The brand has a home. I thought the info on the last lines of the price tags was interesting. Hadn't heard those numbers. RickkciR
Was nice to see Indian there ... definitely had a crowd. A LOT of folks drooling, and as always a LOT of folks mumbling " Indian is still around? " . Interestingly, one of the official Rally shirts had an Indian on the front! HD had a large setup where they always do , and they have DEMO rides, which would have been nice. V8 Choppers was setup again, just behind Indian ( monster bikes!) ... Chickasaw Indian Outlaw
I was there, have been every year since 2003. We stay at The Inn At Carnal Hall right at the end of Dixon Street on the Arkansas campus so we can ride all day, park the bikes and walk the party on Dixon (or ride it sometimes)! Yep, it is a ZOO at times but this was my favorite year yet cause I got to watch all those Hardley riders walking through the Indian display going ooooooh, auuuuugh and purchasing Indian gear! Be part of the mob or part of the Tribe! ! !
