natanic
Stopped by the Indian booth in Sturgis, to check things out... Heard they'd changed up the apparel line, and thought I'd take home a T-shirt. Was my 18th year in Sturgis and don't need any new shirts, but found plain and simple Indian one that I liked alot. But, with a $29 price tag, I went home with out any new T-shirts this year. Even a cheap Harley shirt is still around $20, maybe a few bucks more in some places, so I was dissappointed, to say the least. I hope this isn't a sign of the new model bike prices! PPScoutrider
What did Indian have on display? Not much that you can't buy online or from dealer. The 2012 Sturgis shirts had a brown tint to them, so I didn't buy one. Otherwise, they had bikes on display, pictures of which all have seen, but, that said, with Victory there too, it was a nice set up. Harley was directly across the street--on purpose by one or both of them--which was cool to see. Lots of foot traffic at Indian/Victory display, I can tell you that. natanic
Yep, what PPScoutriders says pretty much sums it up. On Friday a person could've stood in line for Mike Wolf's autograph, and I think they had a couple other well known people in and out during the week. I will say that the staff seemed more friendly and willing to talk with people than in the past. Not that they weren't friendly before, they just seemed to have a more welcoming feeling this year. Scalper38
I've been scouring the 'net for stories/reviews of the rally and specifically the response to Indian. So far, NOTHING. What's up with that? Anyone go that cares to give us their full blown report? Hork? Anybody?
PPScoutrider
The Indian tent was more busy than any other year I have been down there (this is my 10th in row), I can tell you that. I really had no chance to even visit with Sno given he was so busy. BTW, I spent about $300 on Indian clothes for the girlfriend and I. Litttle known secret, I bought my girlfriend one of these tight fitting sweatshirts, and also bought a 3XL in women's for myself. They are very nice, and fit tightly like a thin riding jacket. Inidan also had a throw-back sign right on the corner across of HD tent: FYI, you can get smaller versions of this, in different colors, through Sno at Indian of Fargo. They are very cool looking (made from old barn wood I believe). I buying one for my soon-to-be-finished mancave!!
PPScoutrider
And the Indian flag was flying high (along with the North Dakota State University Bison flag) at the Buffalo Chip campground, with many campers using it as a reference to find their camper: Plus, the ATV was even representing Indian (this is street legal, so I drove it after dark when my kickstand was down for the night): Found this 1928 Scout at the Broken Spoke Campground:

natanic
By my calculations, $24.99 - $6.00 = $18.
