the aluminum those wheels on that bike are made out of is prolly some wicked grade stuff too.

never wouldve thought one day people would pay $6000 + for high end bicycles

DR, that is no $6000 bike, Gamma is cheap chinese crap.

Yup, I know guys with $4000 in WHEELS! Im not even a hardcore rider and it looks like I have to go for at least $3500 for a decent mountain bike, more if I don't want it made in china. On the upside, my bicycles have never left me stranded as my other two wheel ride has.

Lucky you ... my bicycles have left me both stranded and broken on several occasions.

Just had our famous annual 100 mile bike race in town a few weeks ago. The count was 648 bikers from all over the world in our small town of 2800. There were some serious bikes there. My buddy who sells bikes said there were $20k and up bikes in that race. Wow!! I wouldn't know to look at them.

it should have a high-end prostitute come with it for that price, but that is the coolest looking road bike I have ever saw in my life!

speaking of which, from what I understand, Lance armstrong is supposebly the most dope tested athlete on the planet, and has come out negative for anything illegal everysingle time, sounds like they need to give it a rest?

don't really know all that much about it though

Besides numerous flats and a broken chain, the closest I've come to being stranded is when I did a great imitation of superman flying over the handlebars, my head managed to find the one pile of rocks in the middle of the woods. Took me about 20 min before my mind cleared enough to finish the ride. Had a nice bump right below the helmet.

Anyway, as with my Indian, I do not leave home without tools and basic supplies. On both my bike and bicycle I've stopped to fix someone else who was not so prepared.

Here at work, there is a bunch of guys into bicycling big time.

Some of them have more money into thier bicycles than I have into the Indian.

One guy has $16K into one road bike and he still wants to upgrade things.

Of course, they are probably way healthier than me but I am way faster than them.
