Kenai
By now I'm sure some of you have heard about the Muskegon Motorcycle Club (MMG) accident in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin last Thursday. A car with a single 25 year old male with a prior drug record and suspended license crossed the intersection and crashed into 10 of the 12 MMG riders on their annual Bridge Run to the UP around Lake Michigan. 1 was killed and several of the 12 riders remain in critical condition . The Emergency response and Flight for Life helicopters in Wisconsin are to be heralded for saving riders lives. One critically injured rider had 3 cardiac arrests one in the helicopter heading to the hospital. I have known and worked with several of the MMG riders involved in this accident for almost 30 years. Helmets and proper riding gear was attributable to only 1 fatality in the accident. The incident has shocked the west coast of Michigan and Wisconsin. There are many fund raisers and collections going on to support the survivors and their families. On Friday, a candlelight vigil was held with hundreds in attendance. http://www.mlive.com...in_wiscons.html Prayers for the remaining critical riders recoveries. Ride safe. indian T
What a tragedy. My heart goes out to these riders and their families and friends. The scumbag driving the car had no right to be behind the wheel of a car. I hope he spends many-a-night behind bars thinking about what he did, and haunted in his dreams so that he never has a restful night's sleep for as long as his pathetic life lasts here on earth.
