Can you get yourself and that right-hand shifter up here by Saturday June 2nd? The Northwinds Chapter of the IIRA holds their monthly chapters meeting on the 1st Saturday of the month 10:00am @ Fury Motorcycles in South St. Paul. We would be happy to show you a good time!

There is an annual charity ride that starts there in the morning as well, it's called the Chuck Worden ride for Wishes.

Zit, who at the moment is a professional free agent would be happy to have lunch with you. He knows all the cool spots in both Mpls & St. Paul.

You won't see him anywhere near Twin Cities Indian though!

Co-owner of Indian Motorcycle of the Twin Cities Faces Felony Property-Damage Charge

A 35-year-old Stillwater man who is the co-owner of Indian Motorcycle of the Twin Cities allegedly crashed his truck into a Forest Lake woman's garage door after she refused to meet him for a date.

A 35-year-old Stillwater man faces a felony property-damage charge after he allegedly drove his vehicle into a Forest Lake woman’s garage door after she refused to meet him for a job interview.

Arturo Eguia-Welch was charged by the Washington County Attorney’s Office this week with first-degree criminal damage to property for allegedly backing his truck into the woman’s garage door.

According to the Minnesota Secretary of State website, Welch owns Indian Motorcycle of the Twin Cities.

The woman told Forest Lake police that on March 2 she was texting Welch about a job opening at Indian Motorcycle of the Twin Cities.

In response to the woman's inquiry, Welch responded with remarks insinuating “if she had sex with him or sent some ‘naughty or enticing’ pictures” he may consider giving her the job, the complaint states.

The woman reportedly told Welch she would not do either.

That’s when Welch allegedly sent a text message saying he would come to her house to meet with her. The woman responded with a text stating: “No I don't want u here."

Welch then drove to the woman’s house and when he arrived sent two more messages, the complaint states. The first text allegedly reads, "I'm here" and the second contained the license plate number of the woman's vehicle.

The woman turned over all of the text messages as evidence in the case, the complaint states.

The woman told police that after she refused to answer the door or meet with Welch, she heard a loud bang as if her garage door had been hit.

Upon investigation, police believe a truck hitch hit the woman’s garage door causing about $1,289 in damage.

According to court records, Welch has retained an attorney from the Washington County Public Defender's Office. A call to his attorney requesting comment on the allegations has not yet been returned.

That should bring a little sunshine in Dr. Mark's life.

Will be out of town, sorry to miss you again. Since TC Indian will be a buzz with Art's new adventure, I am sure the IIRA group will gladly show you a good time.

Hey GG, make sure you have plenty of stickers to slap all over his bikes ! Please photograph the signing ceremony since we don't have the back room, show-n-tell, intimidation methods of recruiting like those who claim to "lead the way"......

  • 2 weeks later...

I'll be there this coming monday.

I gotta admit I'm nervous as hell about getting my mapping updated.

if my darkhorse doesnt run as good as it does now, after the update, I'm gonna be one pee-owed mf.

I've already checked my wiring harness and my tuner is wired in post-computer, so, at worst, I expect to only have to re-tune, if anything.

I'm going to ride the bike before I leave to see if everythhing is hunky-dory.

I'm still not convinced anyone knows (or at least will say) why some of these km bikes have these stumbling/hesitation issues

Hey Ernie,

How was your trip out east then to the south?

You get your brother transplanted safely?

Did you have any time for a pit stop to the Factory Store?

Brother delivered and in place, but did not get chance to stop off. Did see Mark's place in Charlotte. Nice trip but spent most of the time getting Dad's place in order with 90+ degree and high humidity. Back now waiting on getting 09 back. 48 being final prepped with new seat and bags from Heathers Leather ready, hopefully ready in next couple weeks.

This whole trip has changed dates about 5 times now, lol!

I'm loading up the darkhorse in the trailer early sunday morning and heading toward waterloo. I'll leave for st. paul early monday morning. I've got to be back at work tues morning. I'm bringing my gf with me so she'll help with the deiving but she may stay in waterloo sunday. she really really wants to see a actual Indian dealer store though so she may end up going up there too.

The plan is to go for a ride after the remap and make sure everythings ok. prolly will get some lunch and then load up and go.

so very doubtful I'll be around by 5. wish you could seethe jockey shift in person though.
