BONMYI
Interesting www.thefederalregister.com/d.p/2009-02-04-E9-2488 KEEP SMILING HB 1388 PASSED You just spent $20,000,000 to move members/supporters of Hamas, a terrorist organization, to the United States ; housing, food, transportation, the whole enchilada. Whether you are an Obama fan, or not, EVERYONE IN THE U.S. Needs to know.... H.R. 1388 was passed, behind our backs. You may want to read about it... It wasn't mentioned on the news... Just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen. Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA . This is the news that did not, and will not, make the headlines. By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugees and "conflict victims" in Gaza .. The "presidential determination"(ain't that nice?) which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States , was signed and appears in the Federal Register. Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing, transportation and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006. Now we learn that he is allowing thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense. These important, and insightful, issues are being "lost" in the blinding bail-outs and "stimulation" packages. Doubtful? To verify this for yourself: www.thefederalregister.com/d.p/2009-02-04-E9-2488 Friends, WE are losing this country at a rapid pace. My dog has created more shovel-ready jobs than Obama ! mt95
Guys--- We CANNOT allow this kind of stuff to happen to this great country. Take a few moments out of the time you spend here online, do a little research on who voted for this bill from your congressional district and bombard their email bins. We do vote, we don't like this blind sided bull shit, and they can be voted out come the next election. We, the people still do have some power, IF only we get off our asses and hold them responsible for killing this great country one idiotic bill at a time. The down side of the whole situation is, most read about these things and do nothing. Don't be part of the problem--be a bigger part of the solution. I am writing my congressmen NOW

TitanChief
Both sides of the political spectrum are responsible for our economic problems. Big government is destroying us with irresponsible spending of fiat currency, and the government, which can't see past 4 year blocks, does not understand what a free market system is, and only knows how to do 2 things: coerce and spend money. Were guilty though for letting the idiots run us to the ground...we focus on one of our favorite entitlements, and vote on one issue, and let the abuse of the Constitution continue...as long as our favorite candidate keeps enforcing our favorite program. We need to remember what made our country great: the Constitution and Capitalism. We lost control of both somewhere around FDR, and it rolled out of control since...our government has grown exponentially and without boundary....we have to take it back and starting supporting leaders that stop making promises that do not protect the Constitution. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate that is not part of the political machine. He wants to end the stupid war on 12th century peasants, and he wants to curb the Fed, and has a REAL plan to cut a trillion in spending. He is principled....he doesn't believe in abortion or drugs, but believes states determine it, not the feds. He is what our founding fathers would be. Obama was a mistake, but indicative of how shallow and lazy we have become...politics is a beauty contest, dictated by media bias...but in the end, the leaders are puppets on the strings of special interests...and they play the game, because the politicians allow it, in fact, encourage it. they are in it for power and money, that's it. Integrity is gone. We need to hold them to the highest of standards, or we will continue to fail as a Constitutional Republic.
