I hope St. Paul Harley wins this lawsuit. I have purchased several items from them over the past few years, and they always provide excellent service and very competitive pricing. Even better pricing than Zanotti's out of PA most of the time (who I have also found sell parts for less than the stealerships out here in Kali).

hmmmm.....I'm going to have to change the pic of my bike. Not what I have anymore.

I don't see it ending well. Once a dealer tries suing how does HD let them keep the dealership? They may win the suit, but will they lose in the end?

That's cause the owner is 70 some years old and is ready to retire. He doesn't need to keep it however HD can't afford to loose the dealership either. St. Paul HD was 3rd largest sales volume dealer in USA a couple years back. The Indian dealer next door and St. Paul HD are in bed with each other in more ways than one. That blonde in shipping dept is an excellent........... :Beer-Chug[1]: Use your imagination boys.

No idea about Art & St. Paul...however as far as losing this OWNER, not the dealership, I doubt HD is that worried. My guess is Twin Cities or Zylstra would be quick to jump in & take it.

In Green Bay we had McCoy's Harley Davidson. Ken McCoy didn't play nice with HD. Last year they finally yanked his franchise from him, which meant no HD dealer in Green Bay. Well there was Vandervest HD about an hour north in Peshtigo Wisconsin. They are now putting up a new building here & they have been awarded the Green Bay franchise. I believe they will have 2 dealerships now....

Point being, HD will find someone to take over the St. Paul dealership.

Now, get back to this whole IN BED STUFF & now I have to go look at the blonde next time I'm in St. Paul..... :D

St, Paul HD owner is on his way out anyway - retirement. I think this is just a last stab on the way and payback for all the hurt he went through over the last few years However, most of us went through hurt over the last 3 years.

Anyway, a federal district judge told HD to chill out for awhile. Try and find an amicable solution.

chill out link

The blonde.........there is a few hot ones over there. But hey, they have a few hot brunettes too. Wonder if Victory has any hotties working at their dealerships. Lord knows there aren't any working at Art's place, 'cept the poster models but they aren't on the payroll.

Doc's is a HD dealership....Shawano County.

http://www.docshd.com/

McCoy's had Green Bay, Stock's have Manitowoc, There is HD of Appleton, Doc's in Shawano & Vandervest was in Peshtigo.

Now wioth McCoy's losing GB, Vandervest picked it up.

Doc has exploded. He has a huge building on his property now. He has the dealership & service area & all his storage barns. Then he build a bike & car museum. & resturant, a saloon, an ice cream shoppe & an antique store. His food is excellent. If anyone was every at his dealer parties in September, they always had tons of great food. Now he serves it every day in his Timeline resturant.

They call it the time line because he has the "time line" bike sitting in there. They call it the time line because it is huge & has 7 HD motors that all run when it goes. They have the following in it

F-Head IOE 1909-1929

Flathead 1928-1948

Knucklehead 1936-1947

Panhead 1948-1965

Shovelhead 1966-1984

Evolution (Blockhead) 1984-1999

Twin Cam (Fathead)1999-present

He also let's people sign up to go on rides with the thing.
