Sept. 7th-21st.. 15days.. from Newburgh New York to San Francisco Calif.. this time no cycles built after 1929.

if you can find the time to see and rub elbows with these folks and machines along the way it WILL put a smile on your soul..

One of the members of the ADV site was asked to ride on his 1928 Indian. The same bike he rode around the world. When the time comes I plan on riding from the Chicago area to Anamosa with them. Be nice to get several local riders.

I may be able to arrange that you think we can get them to stop at Poopies

is it the same fella from last one? he was a great guy to meet and his bike was really neat as well. cant imagine riding that thing...that far. OUCH...Beer-Chug[1].gif

Yes, Jim Petty. Rode a Indian Charlotte sponsored 1915 Indian Twin.

Jim Petty is a very nice guy. I met him in the Charlotte dealership last year during the barn ride. I loved his bike and his passion.

 

I might try to follow that group a bit as they head north of me. Such a cool event.
