I stopped at a light looked over and saw a gray haired older lady at the light I looked to the left and then looked back all I saw was a wig and some smoke on the sidewalk where she had just been standing....poor lady must have evaporated!!!! I was splitting wood last week as I had some tree men 'round here to clean up some hickory's in the yard. It was 100 degrees. A buddy of mine that is an RN asked me,"do you need some fire wood today" I told him no to which he replied, "put the axe down, and go in the house you fucking lunatic" that really made a lot of sense to my diabetic hazed brain........ I got folks laying pipe diggin' in this dust bowl cain't breathe for the heat and the dust, tying rebar burns their arms if ya touch it above the gloves. Don't remember it this bad in my 67 years.
