joel3078
WTF 2012 same price as KM in the specifications unless I am reading something wrong. No significant changes or drop in price till the Polaris designed, mass produced Indians come out is the story I heard. Also drop in price is gonna be about $5K or so as the Cheif will still be a premium high end model. Others models will fill in the lower price point ala Scout, Arrow, concept bike, etc . 2012 models will have all updates and current bugs fixed before hitting dealer floors is another story I heard. Time will tell.

Dr. Mark
Yup. Dark Horse is now only in one color...black, with black leather with fringe. Classic is in only two colors, red and black, with script only, no headdress. Black leather only. Vintage is down to Willow/cream, red/cream, turquoise/white, black, and red. Distressed leather only. Looks like no one gets the option of having the headdress on the tank any more. At least not from the factory. Interesting.
Indian Brave
Yawn clearing old stock as new stock - nothing new to see here - as I've confidently said before, Polaris won't produce new scoot number 1! Heck your whole damn country will be in debt default as of 3 8 11 if congress don't left the debt ceiling from 14 trillion - what hope then for your manufacturers like Polaris? Polaris will be lucky to see in 2012 not in chapter 11 along with the rest of the country. You guys have any idea what the national debt currently looks like? http://www.wtfnoway.com/ Take a look and tell me your country can trade its way outta that mess! Time to get effin real people. This Polaris Indian crap story is pie in the sky talk - reminiscing bout the good ole days - well i got bad news for you all - the bad ol days is here NOW! I still say Polaris never manufactures Indian scoot number 1! And you can quote me on that! Cheers

doberwiler
Wow, Polaris is trying to do the right thing and bring this brand back alive and you guys are mostly negative. If the owners of this brand are such sour pussies I can see why it won't survive. I am glad Polaris bought Indian and I may purchase one some day. I bought the original Hammer with the new 100/6 motor from Polaris and love it -- I had followed Victory since it started in 1998. If Polaris didn't buy Indian it would be dead again. DW Nah, not sourpusses. Most of us are thrilled that Polaris bought Indian. Well, OK, some of us aren't, but you can't please everyone. I do hate that almost everyone I knew at KM is out of a job, though. Interesting that they would decrease the number of available options, but enterprising dealerships will be able to take up that slack. Means that Polaris won't have to deal with as many vendors, I guess.
