Remember when Gilroy closed? Remember the promises made by Julius at Branson? How would you feel about now if you were an Indian dealer that fell for Julius's line of shit? "We are in this for the long haul"

Now look. Pittsburgh is closed. Wichita is close behind. The great dream of Stellican is gone and so is the Gilroy/Stellican era Chief. They could not even supply bikes until Polaris gets one going. Nice job Mr. Heese!

The dealers are wondering when a new bike will come. Wow, how long did we Gilroy Riders wait after the doors were shut at Gilroy?

If you are a stand alone Indian dealer you got to be wondering how to keep the doors open if you are not going to get bikes until…………….well???????????? 2013!

What a mess. If I was an Indian Dealer I would be a bit concerned right now. I sure would like to see the Free Cash Flow analysis.

The good news is that Polaris has all kinds of FCF and that is something Indian has not had in over 100 years. However, the wars are winding down so expect that FCF to shrink.

Polaris oughta buy out the Crocker Motorcycle Company too.

Make it a pure Hot Rod and Racing Brand Division.

That Confederate/S&S X~Wedge unitized powertrain would be a great way to begin the competition.

Pretty obvious who wrote that piece for ya Jim.....bookofknowledge_johnpic.jpg

If I was a dealer who signed up for the long haul, I'd understand that I am still in the middle of it...

I'd also be very encouraged with what Polaris is bringing to the table, perhaps they aren't haters and their glass is half full ?

Julius and Heese are lone gone, you and the CH honks should let it go....

"No Press is Good Press".... nice try...

Interesting. Indian had and has plenty of cash to spend. But, Indian does not have the 40 point drop in value that Harley has. Harley has a long climb ahead but, they have a pretty good product too. If that's what yer into.

...you can't put all the blame on Julius or any of the others, some of the blame goes to the dealers who believed all the B.S. that was thrown at them. No one in his right mind would jump into the motorcycle business without at least checking everything out first....everyone knows that Indian Motorcycle has a SMALL FOLLOWING compaired to Harley Davidson and all the other brands thats are available...to thank that you could start a Indian Dealership and make it work is nothing but a pipe dream.

Agreed. Starting a new dealership for any brand Indian, Davidson, Polaris, Japanese is particularly tricky over the past few years. During that time period many of the polaris and davidson dealers closed. Complete HD factory plants closed ending thousands of U.S. jobs. For the past year there is no HD dealer in my town for the first time in at least thirty years. Overall Stellican some good stuff for Indian along with the bad. Glad that Indian Principals now have some genuine infrastructure for support.
me ride um Centennial

cheers
