mycorn
here's some big nuz taken a look at the national debt clock lately? my mind wont even really get all the way around how much a million dollars is i believe it's relatively easy to operate a lifetime on a million in my 50+ years worklife i dont think i'l best that how can ~500 "thinking rational human beings" agree that overspending is a good idea? ever? [yeah, i know a bunch of them have filed personal bankruptcy] if we'r at ~14 TRILLION today and they want to up the debt limit some more to survive till next year what do you think the number is going to be next january? it's an evil thing to say no one wants to hear it i'm sure if someone wants to bother to look history will show when the exact moment was we'r past the point of no return america is no longer a super power we'r a super debtor with nuclear weapons sooner or later somebody's got to say it: "uuuuuuhhhh.... yeah... we cant pay that... we cant even service the interest" so what then? yup the worlds economic system will probably melt down for a while the sun is not going to stop shining the people we owe are not going to attack us there wont mysteriously be less bullets here than the day before there will be domestic violence how much depends on food supplies all the ethnics will go home because everything will be expenciveasfuk and farmers will have clans guarding their crops after the morning hunt and a check of the jerky racks i'l get on whatever indian i didn ride the day before and hope i can put some gas in it in a bit... might barter a couple goats schitte i'm gonna have to get some saddlebags... XV62
A little perspective on the amounts of which you speak.......... A million seconds ago was just about two weeks ago......... A billion seconds ago was 31 years and change ago, about 1979/80.......... A trillion seconds ago was 31,000+ years ago, long, long before any recorded history............. Another member put this up a while back. I wadn't sure about it, so I did the math. It's dead spot on. Kinda makes ya wonder where all the money is........... And what one would do with more'n a few million. Edited January 14, 2011 by Vintage62

There is no paper trail on these trillions...just str8 down a blackhole called the FED and into the coffers of International Bankers... END THE FED---------------->>>>>>>>>>>>Becomes more obvious each day. When it becomes selfevident in every aware citizen's interest to change direction, unity of purpose will catch on like wild fire...those disinterested or opposed will be cast aside as mere spectators - not active players - no matter what rank they may enjoy today. I recommend these points made by Tom Jefferson 200 years ago: 'Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. Nothing...is unchangeable but the inherent and unalienable rights of man. If we run into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, and give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses; And the sixteen being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they do now, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account; But be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains around the necks of our fellow sufferers; And this is the tendency of all human governments. A departure from principle in one instance becomes a precedent for a second, that second for a third, and so on 'til the bulk of society is reduced to mere automatons of misery, to have no sensibilities left but for sinning and suffering...and the forehorse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression. The accounts of the United States ought to be, and may be made, as simple as those of a common farmer, and capable of being understood by common farmers. Free government is founded in jealousy, and not in confidence; it is jealousy and not confidence, which prescribes limited constitutions, to bind down those whom we are obliged to trust with power. Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies. The central bank is an institution of the most deadly hostility existing against the Principles and form of our Constitution. I am an Enemy to all banks discounting bills or notes for anything but Coin. If the American People allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the People of all their Property until their Children will wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered. The art of life is the art of avoiding pain. This should be a man's attitude: 'Few things will disturb him at all; nothing will disturb him much. Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude. I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it. I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past.'
