darkrider
my dad wants to sell his winchester 90 pump action .22 rifle. its in awesome shape, shoots nice and tight and has no defects. i'm not much of a gun guy. i do own and shoot guns, and i carry,.. just don't have much time to get into them. my dad brought this thing to me the other day and asked if i knew of a way to sell it for him. he's had it over 40 years and said its probably the only gun he has that has no sentimental value. i did a google search on it and it looks to have been made in 1912. and could be worth from anywhere from $400-$2,000. i know a gun place probably won't give me anywhere near what i could sell it out-right for. do any of you know of a good online auction place to sell something like this? and if anybody here thinks they might be interested, i can take detailed pics tia

joel3078
www.gunbroker.com www.gunsamerica.com Friend of mine used to work at the gun library at Cabelas in MN. They used gunbroker quite a bit. Gunsamerica was plan B for them. Also get the Blue Book of Gun Values from Amazon if you want to deal in guns. You can look up value of your Winchester here. Go to any dealer that sells guns and have them drag out the big fat blue book and look it up for ya. Gun dealers are like automotive and motorcycle dealers - they will give you low price for your gun as they are trying to make dollars by reselling it. Brock
Cant...I have classes up through June and cant miss any if I want them to be over! I will be glad to have it by the RIDE TO THE BARN....as had to use some of my seed money for daughters car repairs and a couple other issues that cropped up. Think I will head to the woods in a bit and see if I can get a deer for freezer the final week of the season.

darkrider
thanks for the reply's guys. a couple guys at work are into guns. but they mostly just buy, not sell... so they suggested for something like this type of vintage rifle, to hit some gun/trade shows. i may do that, just don't really want to put alot of time into it, if you know what i mean, plus, if i go to a place like that, i'll end up buying a bunch of stuff i don't need, lol!! i'll check out those links and see how much trouble it will be to sell/auction a gun online. Satdiver
I am believe you can never have to many guns & knives at home. Here is one of my favorites to shoot at work. The gun fire in the background is from PKM's and RPK's. This is a Russian NSV, you don't want to be on the receiving end when this thing goes off! We also shoot PRG's and the GP25 grenades. http://s145.photobucket.com/albums/r239/satdiver00/2010%20Afghanistan/?action=view¤t=NSV2.mp4
