He's Done It Now.

Recommended Posts

Well I went and bought an AK-47 over the weekend. The good old President has got me thinking I had better do it now before they ban them. I don't trust anything that could happen in the future. Was looking at the AR-15 but thought they were to much money and not that much different. It's been a while since I used the M-16 back in the day. I do remember the AK-47 was more dependable than the M-16 when dirty. Can't wait to get to the range with it.

The jackass will hit a ban as soon as he feels he can get away with it. The AK-47 is a fine weapon, not accurate out the distance of a AR-15, but lethal out to 300 yards. The afghan fighters would dip their shoelaces on motor oil and pull them through the barrel to clean their AK's. They just about eat any ammo.

I don't own any firearms myself, they were all lost in a canoe accident

I went with the Ruger Mini-14 in the .223 round, same as the M-16, so's there's plenty of ammo available. I know the Ruger is cheaper than the AR-15 by about half, not sure on the AK pricing.

'Course, I've had it for years.

AK ballistics match up with 30/30 Winchester. If Czheckoslovakian made it is good quality...Chinese import not so good...need to look at where it was made.

It's the 7.62 nato round, or .308, isn't it??

I am an anti-war, pro-peace, anti-violence, family man....why would I need weapons? All of my firearms were lost in the hurricane in South Carolina when i was in Florida. :)

The AK-47 was about half the price of the AR-15 Robin.
