Roadroach
I've got some pic's from Charl.,and took some today at Maggie Valley.Who'll post them?Almost impossible to get real good pic's with out the pepole. When a/or some of the riders would roll in it's like a swarm of bees to honey. I'll also mention that this event is drawing out alot of newer antique bikes.Took a few pic.s of them also.

Vintage229
The last I read on this event the 1915 / 1916 Harley's were dominating the event.
XV62
They weren't giving out much info while we were there. Just announcing who the riders were as they came in. Most of them had already arrived and those were the bikes that were parked. The two or three with the riders came in later. The Velie (old car) is the pace car for the event. I am amazed that some of the bikes made it here from the east coast. A couple were covered in oil. No one was around each bike to tell exactly what was what, year, model, whatever. That red ought-nine roadmaster was a fella we met that rode down from Topeka KS just for this stop. It and my Vintage were the only late models there amongst a mess of HDs. Da' King
We had some fun over the weekend. Sunday, we rode up to Ada Oklahoma to see the Cannonball motorcycles stop in for a lunch break. About 40 vintage motorcycles, all pre-1916, running coast to coast from Kitty Hawk to Santa Monica, over the period of about 2 weeks. Riders get points for all the miles they ride during the trip. If your scoot breaks down, you either fix it and get going, or you get picked up and work on it overnight. Most miles actually ridden win the run. These guys are the real deal. The sidecar bikes are mostly 30's and 40's models and are used to carry the Cannonballers if can't get running themselves. The dude starting his bike was having trouble getting started. His buds help get push started but we saw him about an hour later, after lunch, only about 2 blocks away. He wasn't a happy guy. More Cannonball Pics There were several lady riders and couple of lady mechanics if you can believe that. All in all a great day. More Info Here....
