Afghanistan

Finally, 10 more days until I leave Afghanistan and return to Las Vegas, Nevada. I have lots to do once I get home, and riding the Chief as much as possible is one of them. Penny and I will be at Bike Fest Sept 30 - Oct 3rd BIKE FEST, so if anyone is planning on attending feel free to contact me so we can meet up for a ride and drinks afterward. Satdiver.

My lifelong best friend (Marion..some of you have met him) is on two week leave from there. Says it's a little warm there. Be safe.

Thank you for protecting our freedom, the freedom that allows us to ride great bikes like Indians, and those other guys'. Be safe and if you make it to VA on your Indian you have a couple of free tanks fulls as well as several rounds of beer coming your way!! :Beer-Chug[1]: :Beer-Chug[1]: :Beer-Chug[1]:

sweet brother. Looks like I'll miss you... not deploying for another few weeks.

Don't try to make up for all that beer you nmissed in one night. Keep perspective, it might take some effort.

Best wishes for the readjustment to humanity.

Left Spin Boldak two days ago. Arrived in Kabul this morning. 4 more days and I will be on a plane to Dubai where I do plan on having a few Ice Cold Beers (my first in 8 months) at the airport while waiting for my plane to depart to the states. Satdiver.

Finally,

Back home in the good old USA! The Chief fired up on right away without a problem. Will be changing all the fluids later today and then take a ride to clear my head of the Hadji memories. It is good to be back home, in civilization. Satdiver

Welcome home, Aztec Warrior.

Glad you are out of that place. I have 2 nephews who are both Army Armor officers (tank commanders).

They are doomed to be rotating in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan for the near future. Just the way it is in today's world.
