Indian Motorcycle Of Los Angeles Grand Opening

Recommended Posts

Thank you for your interest in our Grand Opening Premier of Indian Motorcycles Los Angeles (IMLA), we are getting things in place for the big weekend April 17th & 18th just a month away. I am certainly looking forward to meeting some new potential customer/riders like the Iron Indian Riders with us getting to know you and you guys and gals getting to know us.

As you may have already realized we have created a temporary showroom for Indian Motorcycles in our existing Harley-Davidson facility until we can get the sales volume up to support it own location in a couple of years.

So far the customer response to the new Indians on the new showroom has been very favorable.

As for reserved parking for your group we have an area that will be used to show off the First Annual Indian Motorcycle Los Angeles bike show, we have two categories and Indian Motorcycles are only allowed to enter the show.

1. 1953 and older – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners receive a real cool plaque and gift card from IMLA.

2. 1999 and newer – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners receive a real cool plaque and gift card from IMLA.

If anyone in your group would like to enter the show we have room for a total of fifty Indians, 10-15 spots are already filled so we still have 35 to go before the lot is at capacity, . Check in would be Saturday April 17th from 8 am – 9:30am and the bikes will be secured in the lot until 3:30pm. Winners will be presented the plaques on stage with Lee Rocker and Indian representative’s pictures being taken. So if anyone in your group is interested in reserving a spot in the show please call Andie or Sonja at 310-539-3366 as soon as possible.

We will try to have an area on the corner of PCH & Senator Ave blocked off for general Indian parking but the area is also limited so try to arrive before 10am for preferred parking.

Ride safe!

If things go well for Robert, he may fill all 50 spots with his own Indians. That way he could take 1st, 2nd and 3rd all by himself.

.....this morning's recon produced ...a Dark Horse found in HELL..HDLADarkHorse.jpg....so at first it pissed me off that Indians were in this "jail" named California HD, then after further thought, I looked at the HD's right in the same showroom with the mighty Chief and saw how awesome they were compared to the motor company product...

iiralogoHDLA.jpg..they better hurry up with a proper sign...

Hey Mr. Ruffalo....Ramp in Jersey had one on ebay a few moths ago for $15K.....I'm not judging.....I'm just saying.....

Harley must love this guy or be in pretty sad shape to allow Kings Mountain product in their showroom! "FACT"

LOL. Funny thing is that I was at Phoenix Indian last weekened and saw the same thing. At the grand opening, the Indian were in a small building right across the parking lot. When Laurann and I pulled up, the same crappy rolled banner was still strung across the top just as it was a year ago. However, the entire place had been gutted and used bikes were in there. We talked to one of the sales people about it and they diected us inside the main building. According to them, it felt better to have Indian inside the main building and to push the used bikes outside: new bike sinside, used outside. They had 4 Indians on the showroom right off the main entrance with one bike off the second entrance. Not a bad showing but we were told that the original plan was for Indian to have its own building by this year.

Here's the official flyer! Don't forget to register your Indians for the bike show. It's free!

Also, we will have a very special guest coming in for the Grand Opening on Saturday! The one and only...Medicine Girl!

Her West Coast debut! That's right, Medicine Girl will be making an appearance on Saturday, April 17th. Indian of LA will be handing out some of her posters to the first lucky riders that arrive. She's also be there to sign posters and take pictures so be sure you don't miss it!

And for all you lady riders out there, Doc will be there as well.

..no shit Robert, 4-door Porsche? I had him (Panamerica) going one way and the rice bike played me........then the dude in the Porsche and I laughed because we were staying at the same hostel and were goofing on the track.... till they shut us down....we were going well and then that black truck all of a sudden shows up in the turn and he musta been going 100+....so I backed off.....that's my story and I'm sticking to it...otherwise...I had him....

I did my best considering I was Shifting, Steering, Laughing and Filming.....

Thanks for hosting me and the family Friday night Maldev! It was great to meet Mark and Denise, they are great people. We really enjoyed everyone's company and Mouse made an excellent meal.

I enjoyed the event, it was pretty cool to see Hardleys and Indians in the same showroom. I did get to demo the Maize and Winter White 2010 chief and it was a very smooth ride (of course I am comparing it to my worn out softail model...) and compared to the '09 I rode it has improved but the price is still too high. It was great to see everyone and I hope that dealership sells a ton of them.
