Blue Diesel
Don't know what the attendance figures were, but on Saturday it was wall to wall people - and the Indian Booth was jumpin' all day. Lionel Mercier was there from KM to give a hand to the Wild family (great name for motorcyle dealer, doncha think?) from Calgary. I had a good chat with two of the brothers, Tim and Jim, and left satisfied that they're not only in this for the long haul - they're well set up to do so. They had one 2009 Vintage on display (a Dr. Mark custom special), along with a few 2010s - Bomber, Dark Horse, blue Roadmaster, and a red Roadmaster short fender. Even walking around the other displays, you'd hear snatches of conversations (no Danny, not conversations about snatches) and the word "Indian" would pop out of the blur. People were noticing, that's for sure - but why should I be surprised? Everyone commented on the fit and finish - and the obvious quality. When the price was mentioned - no one went ballistic - they'd just nod their heads as if to say: "Sounds about right ..." Boss was down from Fort McMoney with his son Dan - fine young feller - obviously well raised (I give his mother credit for that ), Charliebates and Hilary came up from Red Deer, and old reliables Buckshot and 44 Magnum came up from Calgary to join local denizens Afterfour and Cathy and yours truly for some hot Vietnamese food Sat. evening. Over to my office across the alley and a snootful of Glendronach 12 yr old single malt ended the day just fine. 44 Magnum took pictures, so they'll be posted later. In the vintage display section there was an immaculately restored Black Indian 4 - worthy of drool by the gallons - I've got a couple fuzzy pics that I'll get up later. Hopefully Lorraine has some better quality ones. A great time was had by all and we're itchin' for some dry road!!

How much is that in Monopoly money? F.O Asshole!!! Hey, are you a perfect asshole now? Right now, the MRSP is 5% above the US price, because that's about what the exchange rate is. Mind you, as soon as the US dollar tanks inna month or two, we should be buyin' 'em for about 50 cents onna doller!!
