joel3078
Pics of Indian section here to wet your appetite. http://s285.photobucket.com/albums/ll43/joel3078/Springfield%20Indian%20Museum/?albumview=slideshow Go on a no rain day as there is a bit of walking outside to get from building to building. The museum is really a showpiece for things manufactured in Springfield throughout history. It's way more than just an Indian museum. Very cool to see and save an extra couple hours so you can see the rest of the museum areas. The Rolls Royce section is very impressive. Micmac
The "Transportation" museum opens @11:00 am, the rest of the Dr Suess shit opens @10:00. They will not tell you this on their website, when they sell you the ticket, or in sinage on the door of the museum of transportation, you are supposed to guess this information, even if it is before 11:00, and you spend $200.00 on Indian stuff, walk out the door headed across the street to the transportation museum. If you attempt to enter the Transportation museum prior to 11:00am, you will be escourted off the property by an armed guard with a very big mouth. If you see a little sawed off minimum wage prick named Scott (not our beloved Scottdawg) tell him to kiss my ass (the fat boy from North Carolina in the silver Volvo). I miss Ms. Mathos, she was cool.

captron
there,ll be a few of us at the indians tomorrow, feel like pigging out! Piggin' out? Check out the Red Rose Pizzeria in Springfield, awesome! My wife and I went there after the museum and stuffed ourselves. Also, like a good selection of German beers? Try the little bar at the Student Prince, again in downtown Springfield. It has a collection of mugs and steins that's impressive and have an order of the "fried cheese' with the suds. "bon appetite!"

Eraserhead
No, I heard she was in a nursing home Kim. She must be pushing 100. I heard she was at the grand opening. I knew her health was failing which is why she stopped the museum and sent them to the Springfield museum instead of her family... She was a riot, and full of spunk, a real piss and vinegar gal... She was a riot, and full of spunk, a real piss and vinegar gal... I got a great shot of Esther at the opening cutting the ribbon to the museum, we stood right across from her. I gave an enlargement of it to the Charlotte dealership and dropped one off at the factory when my wife and I were down there on vacation this November. Micmac
A pioneer in the Motorcycling world fer sure. I am very glad my daughter got to meet her, as I considered her a very positive role model for a young woman, as opposed to the Madonna's of the world. She once told me she rode every bike in there! She drove a late model Camero, had a memory like a steel trap. She always remembered me by my Uncle, your Paul's nephew, aren't you? My uncle worked there after WWII before he moved to Arizona. Every time I went to see Mama in Mass, I would stop there at the museum over the years. I went to all the Indian come home days in the 70's. I want to hit it this summer as I have never been to the Chester one. When I was going they were at the Westfield Mass fairgrounds.
