captron Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 Well one good thing about living up here in the frozen north is that I'm close enough to Springfield to visit the new museum!! Got there Thurs. afternoon, took the wife to the "Student Prince" for a couple of Spaten Optimators then to "Red Rose Pizza" for awesome pizza. Got up early Fri. 10/10 and made it up to the museum to watch a number of guys arrive on old Indians. We were right at the entrance to witness Esta Manthos cut the ribbon to the new museum doors. It was great walking around overhearing conversations of some of the other people there who were recognizing pictures of their grandfathers and great grandfathers who raced Indians or were part of the factory team. I made a slide show of the exhibit (a bit blurry) but if anyone can give me info. on how to post it I'll try.
