He Needs A Shop *B!tch* Here is his notes on job and he is a man of his word and expects hard work but is fair: Or in the proper terms "low man on the totem pole" If you know anyone young and full of energy that wants to work in a fast paced off road shop we have a job for you. No experience needed but it would be nice. We just need you to show up to work on time and work hard. Please no lazy, spoiled, intermittent, video gaming, mommy's boys, we need someone ready to work and maybe even learn. Others here have started in that position and now run the shop so there is room to grow but you have to have initiative. Starting pay is 9.00 an hour part time. Nobody can live on $9 an hour part time these days except a teenager still living with Mom and Dad. Hell, I had 'em starting at $10 per hour 30 years ago. Brock
The sad thing is that a job like this looks attractive to a Right to Work State inhabitant. Nobody can live on $9 an hour part time these days except a teenager still living with Mom and Dad. Hell, I had 'em starting at $10 per hour 30 years ago. No the SAD THING is some people think they are too good to work hard for minimum wage....and expect a handout or better pay than someone that has put in their time. Union or not has nothing to do with this....this is entry level, part time job for someone in school or just out that wants a learn some skills and possibly have a career. Did you read the post or just focus on the $9 an hour part...... why did you have to bring your Union vs RIGHT TO WORK crap in this. I was passing along in case anyone in that area had a teenage son or someone right out of school that needed to work. It is PART TIME job so the person can have another job. It is an honest living with a chance to learn something...welding, fabricating, powdercoating, building rigs, installing suspensions, bumpers, armor kits and setting up race vehicles...maybe more. It has a chance for promotion with ever single one of his shop managers starting in this same way....low pay, part time until they prove they want to work hard and want to learn. As for the Right To Work slam.....no worries there...everyone in car industry in my state is still working. LOL I am guessing there might be a few UAW members that would love to have a job in a right to work state to put food on table and turn their lives around without having to ask MOTHER MAY I from Daddy O and UAW. Like I said before-- since you brought it up....the UAW drove the car makers in the ground so the employees and their greedy bosses have nobody to blame but themselves for strong arming the auto makers into compliance by locking up the entire states workforce to push their agendas and line their pockets with profits. Should have let them all go into bankruptcy back in January like I said and saved TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS in bailout money that ended up being wasted. The only winners were the UAW as the makers still went bankrupt........and Obama orchestrated the whole thing to ensure he could take Govt Control of them as if they did it back then he would have had to let it go and he took so much money from UAW he OWED THEM and made sure they did not fail as it would have shut down UAW as well...this way UAW makes money....owns big stake in manufacturer...and Obama gets more support from a critical DEM state. If I had a nephew or son that was in highschool or just graduated and did not want to go in military or go to college....and lived near Corona....I would have his ass down there already learning what working hard for an honest wage meant. Not $75 an hour to put lugs on nuts for GM. Edited June 16, 2009 by Brock

Brock
I did not intend for this to turn into a RIGHT TO WORK vs UNION state thread...just thought someone might have a teenager or someone down on luck in area that could use a new start. Unbelievable... Closing this thread if I can get it done.
