Injun Pete
BBC: Hell's Angels Sought to Kill Jagger March 2, 2008, 2:58 PM EST Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger escaped an assassination plot hatched in 1969 by the Hells Angels, a new British Broadcasting Corp. documentary has claimed. A program to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Monday says the rock star was the target of the plot following a purported dispute with the motorcycle gang over concert security. Jagger had vowed not to use Hells Angel members as bouncers following the death in December 1969 of an 18-year-old fan at a notorious free performance at Altamont Speedway in Northern California. In return, gang members hatched a plan to kill Jagger at his holiday home in Long Island, New York, the BBC claimed. "The Hells Angels were so angered by Jagger's treatment of them that they decided to kill him," Tom Mangold, the presenter of the program, was quoted as telling Britain's Sunday Telegraph newspaper. He said the plan was disclosed during an interview with Mark Young, a former FBI officer, for the BBC's "The FBI at 100" documentary. Mangold said the men tried to reach Jagger by sea. "The boat was hit by a storm and all of the men were thrown overboard," he was quoted as saying. They all survived but made no other attempt on his life, Mangold said. It was not clear whether Jagger was ever informed of the alleged plot against him. LD Communications, Jagger's publicists in Britain, did not immediately return calls requesting comment. The Hells Angels have always denied any connection with the Altamont Speedway killing.

The Hells Angels have always denied any connection with the Altamont Speedway killing. Just for the record the Hells Angels originated in WWII. A group of pilots who named themselves based on the fact that everyday they flew a mission where each pilot did not know if they would fly back alive. Hence, flying into Hell and if you survived you had an Angel looking over you. After each fire fight they would get back to the base and get drunk in celebration of living another day. After the war was over they formed a motorcycle group who continued to live that same way. Eventually the group passed away and a new generation of party riders evolved. Most of these individuals did what they could to survive with what they had. Our society did not condone the party behaivour. Why! They were not paying taxes through trade bargaining and so the war began and predjudice adittudes. I myself support the Angels for the good they do and have had the pleasure of partying with them over the years. I never had a negative thing to say about this riding group. They mind there own business for the most part. Our governments just want a piece of the pie. Every group needs cash to survive and business is business. Living free and riding free . Freedom from working 9-5 is how they lived in the beginning because they were outcasts. If our system regulated and taxed the free trade everything would be different. Some of the top brass in the Angel organization where white collars everyday. Imagine that!

Guns trafficking, drug trafficking, BOMB manufacture ( and sale ), extortion, assasination, etc... What do you think your government is doing. Prescription drugs are any different. Killing in war makes it ok. Gun trafficking means better prices , painkillers are affordable to those without plans , I know many people who would pay to have someone assisnated because the law did not due its job. Hells Angels ! I say Hell Ya! You see what lawyers charge these days. Your worried about extortion. You must come from money my friend. We are not all created equal and sometimes higher power abuses the poor! Your right ! I did not see the Americas Most Wanted. But what I did see are a bunch of cops beating homeless people in the alleys in Toronto . When I asked whats going on the cop said he was practicing using his billy club. Good and bad in everything. Your Dr. is a drug trafficker. The billions of dollars pharmacutical companies make and we still have people starving in North America. Pray you never hit bottom my friend because I know one group who would by a man a meal and not look back! Ride long Ride hard!

firebird77clone
GREASE. nothin but love for ya bro, but I TOTALLY expected that response. *************************************************************** The rest of this thread has been edited. *************************************************************** Hell, I may as well do it myself, cause LR wouldn't want that much TRUTH on the forum. As much as he lets fly in here, TRUTH about the 1% don't get tolerated. Support whom ya like. BUT MIND THESE WORDS: As a society, ANY group which chooses to conduct itself CRIMINALLY should be ABHORED. You are quick to point out lawyers, but at least they work WITHIN THE LAW. You point out doctors, and yeah, they certainly do dole out the drugs. but they do it within the confines of the LAW. I really recommend you get a copy of that edition of AMW and see if your blinders will let in the light. you mention the military... but the miliray actions are conducted within the LAW. *** we hope *** oh, and you mention that I come from money... depends on your definition of 'money'. If buying your clothes from second hand stores ( salvation army ) qualifies.. then yeah, we had money. Dad did ok, ( nuclear engineer ) but mom didn't work and that paycheck got spread pretty thin with four kids. I can remember sewing my tennis shoes back together cause they were wearing out too quick. I remember wearing clothes that got my ASS KICKED cause they weren't in 'style'. No, bud, didn't come from money. AND.. i ain't in the money now, not by my standards. had to shuffle payments, transfer loans, etc just to get the chief. But I can tell ya this: What I have I have EARNED. Didn't get it selling drugs, knocking peeps off, extortion, loan sharking, stealing, what ever. Just lots of overtime in the Corprate American meat grinder. Edited March 4, 2008 by firebird77clone

Things in my life changed when the government was instrumental in medical mal practice suit I went through. The law failed me and so did the Government. When I was down and out its the system that failed which is run by the Government. Laws were put in place to build a society. Some people benefit by law more then others and money dictates that > Anyone wants some OJ!! I know who was there for me when things got tough. Not all members are 1% as not all people are soldiers.
