I thought that good ol' Jodi put a moratorium on billboards though...

glad this made it passed it!

This is still in the planning stages...I want to make it happen and we are going to see if it's possible.

besides...failure is not an option and we know a lot of people

Nothing ventured nothing gained... :)

very nice

I agree...no credit to me though, I think a company designed it gratis for the PGR and S Carolina got BB companies to donate unused BB space

I would be interested to hear thoughts on copyright issues...

I should think as a State Captain I would have the right to use the PGR logo (it's the older one) but we'll see what national has to say...

What say you Robert?

You need to get their clearance for certain. I went through the motions for a calendar shot that had a PGR logo on the windshield of one of the bikes. Unfortunately, they answered way too late for me to be able to include the shot in the calendar.

Since the message is on the behalf of the member of the PGR, as it could be read, you should get their permission. They do own the rights to the logo.

In a perfect world, people would thank vets without fear of copyright infringement. To bad Airwolf you have to worry about that, it is a nice thought. Is the billboard company trying to ride on the PG's coat tails?

As a non profit org that we are a members of...don't "we" all own it? Who actually gets the right to determine its use?
