Brock
I have kicked around some ideas in past internally and some I have shared with a couple people.....but any interest in trying to get a good collection of photographs together that recreate some vintage/classic Indian Motorcycle photographs, tin signs, or paintings? I think it's an idea that's worth exploring, especially the tin signs. I love those things (and I'm sure you could sell Doc a few dozen - cuz it sounds like he's a real mark for that shit) but I've no idea what kind of cost would be involved. I've got a friend who owns a fairly big silk-screening facility. They do mostly tee shirts, but if the tin blanks were made the right size, I think their frames could easily handle them - and they do gorgeous work - so you could probably source that out locally. I'll talk to him and get a price, if he thinks they can do it.
Brock
i was not talking about making the actual Tin signs as my brother has a huge silkscreen and embroidery shop and likely could help out....I was talking about recreating the poses and imagery found on those old signs, advertisements, and photographs in NEW PHOTOGRAPHS for use in a calendar or just for artwork... I have a picture I would love to have put on tin. How much do you think it would cost?
